Many of you have contacted me via PM, or expressed interest in revamping the database; this is something I'd really love to do for you all.  I've contacted a few of the people to see exactly who has the keys to it, so to speak, so in the meantime I wanted to get some input from you all as to what kinds of things you'd like to see added, while we're sprucing up the place.

Obviously the database will do exactly what you'd think it would, featuring items and the like.  Would you also enjoy seeing quest information and maps updated?  I know a few people have suggested a character building tool as well, which would be a much larger undertaking but still worth doing if enough people voiced a desire for it.

Aside from the database, what kinds of things would you folks like to see on the site as far as updates and information/tools are concerned?  Hit the jump here, and speak up with your opinions.  In addition to this, I'll be including some of your responses to my RotHC Retrospective article!

Earlier today via the official SWTOR website as well as Emails sent out to players, we were treated to a page that gives a few bits of information regarding the customization options coming out in Game Update 2.1.  To read more about it, hit the jump.

Today we've got a few snippets of information from the developers, chief among those is a bit of guidance regarding the forthcoming Game Update 2.1 "Customization" patch.  We'll also take a look at what the Community Team does to stay in touch with you, as well as a cool giveaway contest by Sideshow Collectibles, featuring a Sixth-Scale Darth Malgus!  For more, hit the jump.

Hey folks, I decided that I'd like to share my thoughts on Rise of the Hutt Cartel and it's launch, as well as what I'd like to see from the 2.X life cycle going forward.  Obviously I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter as well; so to hear what I have to say, as well as to chip in with your own opinion, hit the jump.

Today via the official SWTOR website we were treated to two new videos; a new Old Republic Insider, bringing us up to speed for the month of April, as well as a preview video for the new Cathar unlock.  For links to both posts, as well as both videos, hit the jump.

Just a few minor bits of news coming across the wire this morning, concerning the apparent problem with PvP Map rotations, as well as the oft-neglected CE Vendor.  For clarification on these two things, hit the jump.

Hey folks, this is just to let you know that the maintenance that was postponed yesterday is back on for tomorrow.  For the maintenance post, as well as the patch notes, hit the jump.

With the inclusion of the Achievement system, the developers hinted that there might be achievements that weren't listed right away, and that you would have to earn them in order to discover them.  This is one such achievement!  For a guide on how to get it, hit the jump.

Earlier today via the official SWTOR website, we were informed that the maintenance tomorrow, as well as the deployment of Patch 2.0.1 have been delayed.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to give all of you a heads up that our maintenance will no longer be happening tomorrow morning (April 23rd) as mentioned above. We have discovered a pretty mean bug with Game Update 2.0.1 and we want to make sure that is addressed before we go live with that update.

We will give you more information about when Game Update 2.0.1 will go live as soon as we have it!

 In addition to this, the Vice Commandant's Cartel Pack that was supposed to go live alongside it will also be delayed.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to update you that unfortunately this pack will not be going live Tuesday as we are pushing back Game Update 2.0.1. This is because we found a pretty mean bug that needs to be addressed before Game Update 2.0.1 goes live.

We will be updating this thread when we have more information.

Earlier today via an anonymous source, I received a pretty interesting tip with regards to possible future content.  I always preface these kinds of posts with the knowledge that what we're looking at "may" not be what it appears, we're simply looking at information that's been datamined from the client.  So, with that out of the way, for more information hit the jump.
