Dissected: Comic-Con SW:TOR IGN lnterview

I know there are many out there that are in the process of doing this or already have but I thought I would post what new info I found out of the IGN interview for the users on our site:


  • Several classes will be able to heal, no one class will be the set healer class

  • Healing not a requirement for the base core game

  • Customization in - custom equipment, possible raid content items talked about

  • Hints at discovering what Revan did in the world prior to your character's story

  • Several classes will share planets as starting zones

  • Some classes will revisit other starting worlds in on other quests

  • Other playable Races coming soon (said in the panel and alluded to in the interview)

  • Mac users - Use Bootcamp :(

  • More than one ability will use the jetpack function as a Bounty Hunter

  • Planets will be made up of multiple varying sized zones

  • Will be able to be played on a broad spec of PCs

  • Dark and Light system for every character, light or dark side

  • Companion characters can betray you, become more loyal, and love (romance) you

  • Two intertwined stories, your story, and the over arching story of the world around you in the conflict

  • Jedi will not be overpowered, will make sense

  • Reiterated what we saw the trailer about taking enemies on in groups rather than just one-on-one to make you feel more heroic

  • Mindless grind 'no more'
