Now that I have your attention with a title such as that I will now lose your attention. Midi-chlorians. Now that half of you have stopped reading I will continue with the main topic of the article. Will fat Jedi be stronger in the force than slim Jedi?

As some of you may know, Vader lost some of his connection to the force when he lost some body parts in Mustafar, making him weaker than Palpatine. That is because each cell contains midi-chlorians, increasing force sensitivity. By using the logic in reverse, a morbidly obese Vader would have more cells in his body, resulting in a higher midi-chlorian count. I could explain the Hutt Jedi, Beldorian.
Will being overweight be a benefit for us in Star Wars: The Old Republic? By being larger we will be slower, but would the force sensitivity cancel that out? Would it be the excuse Bioware gives us so we don't have to think about it? (By "we" it is likely just "me") Will it be possible for us to even make overweight characters? I'm mostly bringing this up because I made an overweight, male, Sullustan entertainer during my SWG trial. It didn't get me better tips, even when I danced without a shirt on.

I loved that about SWG. you could really make your char look however you wanted. So many other MMOs every1 looks like a cookie cutter copy. I mean City of Heroes probably has one of the most customizable systems but even they dont allow you to add a belly. :(
So... Not really sure if this was a serious topic, or you were just bored and thought of seeing a fat jedi. =]
Which by the way I don't ever recall seeing any overweight jedis in ANY of the SW movies? lol
I will use smaller numbers to try and make it easier on me.
100 midi per cell X 1000 cells= 100000 Force Power
100 midi per cell X 2000 cells= 200000 Force Power
Both are powerful, but the XL character has double that of his slim counterpart.
To answer this:

I was bored and throwing the labels on the dissection video and came across Han. One thing led to another and I made a fun post with serious lore behind it to lead to bizarre results.
Maybe the force works like electricity and the count of midi-chlorians is just the equivalent of voltage. If Ohm's Law (i=v/r) and the physics of power (p=w/t) work the same way with the force, then a fat Jedi would in theory be less than or equal to an average weight Jedi.
The fatter you become, the less efficient you become. A fat Jedi's body would create greater travel distances, greater resistances, require more energy, and take more time. This would ultimately nullify the increased midi-chlorian count...
Midi-chlroians aren't persistent. Our cells are constantly dieing and being reproduced. Not only do we need to eat to sustain our cells and keep them in a healthy and efficient midi-chlorian infused state; but, chopping off perfectly good limbs would also be cutting off precious midi-chlorian producing/infused cells that were otherwise in optimal condition. A healthy person chopping off their limbs would serve no other purpose than to lower their overall power.
