PvP Video Spotlight

Juggernaut PVP 1.3 Rage Drackul

Drackul shows us why the Rage-specced Juggernaut can be such a force on the battlefield. Good Smash positioning and movement decisions in this video. Though not an instructional video strictly speaking, I would definitely recommend that anyone looking to start playing the Rage spec take a look at this video as well.

You can check out Drackul's channel, along with some more PvP videos.

Op-Ed

Your Guild and PvP

Every server has them: those infamous PvP guilds whose name is recognized and respected (or disrespected) on the field of battle. Whether you belong to a guild or not, they can become institutions on a server and can re-shape the landscape of a server's PvP community.

While many of your server's best PvPers are often part of a PvP guild or organized group, many prefer to go it alone and take more of a "lone wolf" route. While the introduction of Ranked Warzones make this route less likely, you still may encounter recognizeable, unguilded PvPers. In addition, some PvPers find themselves as members of a PvE guild, where they PvP and may possibly encourage others to do so, as well.

For myself, the right group of people to play with is a really important part of my PvP enjoyment. That isn't the case for some players, which I can respect. A guild can be overbearing; you can be pressured to group with people you may not enjoy playing with or to attend events that you're not interested in. If some people find guild membership a hassle, I can't fault them for it.

Last week’s poll results: Ranked Warzone Playstyles

Well, based on last week's poll results, it looks like a lot of you would like to be doing Ranked Warzones but currently aren't!

45.5% of voters said you would play Ranked Warzones if they could queue solo. Another 34.1% said they'd do Ranked Warzones if they could find the right group of people.

Only 15.9% of respondents said they were currently doing Ranked Warzones in addition to Regular Warzones, and 2.3% were doing them exclusively.

2.3% of respondents had no intention of ever doing Ranked Warzones.
