PvP Video Spotlight:
From GensWorld we get this entertaining Vengeance Juggernaut video. Nowadays, when I see someone playing Vengeance (and especially now, after the 1.4 buffs to Rage), I like to take a good hard look at their playstyle. GensWorld gives me what I want: not only do they put up the numbers on the right people, they also aren’t afraid to use the utility and mobility that make the Juggernaut more than just another DPS class. I look forward to more content from GensWorld in the future. Check them out on their YouTube channel.
As always, if you have a PvP video you think that our readers would enjoy, send an e-mail to pvp@darthhater.com or send me a PM on the darthhater.com website. I can't promise that we'll feature it, but I can promise that I will review and consider your submission!
Op-Ed: "That bugs me!"
The list of bugs that players have been contending with since the launch of Patch 1.4 has continued to grow. With confirmation of these bugs earlier in the week by Joveth Gonzalez, I got to thinking a bit about some of them. The wrong voice-over in a same-faction match might be jarring, but otherwise has little effect on the game. On the other hand, a win being awarded to the wrong team or your team not being backfilled after a bunch of people leave can be positively destructive to your motivation.
A hard fought win that results in the other team getting the credit could easily be enough for me to want to just step back from the keyboard for a while. Playing eternally shorthanded in Huttball after the other team scores the first goal (because the game doesn’t backfill my team) could have the same effect. While it’s never happened to me personally, I could see a bug forcing me to take a break from PvP until a bug of this magnitude is fixed, or at least until I can cool off a bit.
Which leads me to my question: have any of the bugs you’ve experienced since the launch of Patch 1.4 impacted you enough to make you reduce your playtime or change your playing habits?
Last week’s poll: Have you stopped playing a character due to changes in playstyle
Yes 13.3%
No 86.7%

Posted 10/10/2012 6:04:15 PMHi I just created a forum post on the official forums but I will repost here:
REGARDING THE BASTION SERVER
Hello forum friends!
I will be organizing some RWZ queues on Saturday Oct 13 starting at 2pm CST (12 PST). We will start by inviting 16 people to an operations group, and then dividing the group into two separate groups. This will allow us to guarantee queue pops. If one team is consistently winning (because we will actually try to compete), then members of each team will be moved around to ensure that the games actually feel competitive. Hopefully, we can get this together and working, but I will need your help. Please tell your friends! All are welcome, and we will be using ventrilo.
Message Depinto or xcornelius as we will be the two forming the groups.

Posted 10/10/2012 1:46:28 PMI don't understand the question. If what you mean by "modify playstyle" mean did I have to change up my rotation or something like that, then no. If you mean having to press "/stuck" in order to kill myself to get out of a section walled off by invisible barriers, the answer is yes.
EDIT : I didn't read the part that said "since 1.4".

Posted 10/10/2012 6:36:57 PMOops, me either.
I stopped playing my Commando healer in 1.2 but left the game for 1.4 as I'm confident they're taking f2p in the wrong direction.
