Game Update 1.7: Consolidated Information

Good morning folks, and happy patch day!  This post will serve as a catch-all for the various guides that will go up over the next few days and collect them all in one easy to access place.  Feel free to bookmark this page, as it will be updated periodically.

UPDATE #3 2/16/13: Patch 1.7.0b was deployed this morning, notes here.  Also, new OpsCom and PvP Columns up today as well.

For all of the current information as it becomes available, hit the jump.

As I've said before the jump, this post will be updated throughout the next little bit to encompass all of the information that we'll have available on Update 1.7.  This post will remain pinned to the top of the front page, so check back often for updates.

    This site is great. Much easier to find information than on the official SWTOR site. Thanks for all your efforts to keep us informed.

    About 1.7 though, can someone tell me why we should be excited? I've looked at the rep rewards and they are all cosmetic and only really useful with high level players. I was kind of hoping for adaptive armor I could put on a leveling character for flavor, like a BH in the Guard armor.

    Not really sure what the reputation grind really gets us in the end...

    It's quite possible that there will be better rewards in the future, though there is no official confirmation on this right now.  Still, seeing as it's a modular system with the capability to just add things in the future, I think it's a reasonable expectation.  If you agree, you should drop a suggestion over in the suggestion box on the official forums, and let them know that you'd like more rep rewards.  Thanks for reading.

    Thanks for the purple update text.  Something I hadn't seen before on these type of posts, and a much better way to present the info rather than a whole new set of posts about them.

    Thanks, I'm glad it's been received well.  I wanted to keep the consolidated information up front and center, but still draw attention to other posts.
