Game Update 1.7: Reputation Rewards

With the arrival of the Galactic Reputation System, we've seen a few new Reputation Vendors pop up on various planets, for their respective factions.  For coverage of the reputation items, as well as to discuss them, hit the jump.

Voss

Voss Ambassador Set

Belsavis

Section Guardian Set

 

 

The armor for this set is the same across both factions, with the exception of the helmet.

Space Mission Reputation Rewards

Hyperspace Hotshot Set

The set names for both the Imperial and Republic space rewards are the same, and the armor are as well, just with different colors.  Each are provided below:

    There will more than likely to be more rep rewards to come. Don't know if you noticed, getting rep takes a long time. This was probably what they could get out fast enough to keep the annoying "WE NEED STUFF EVERY 6 WEEKS" at bay for not releasing all of what they wanted in one larger patch.

    its going to take a long time to turn in the rep.  aquireing the items to click for rep looks like its going to take 4.5 days on 4 toons.  was able to hit weekly cap with 4 toons on day one

    So they really haven't added a single new armor model since Explosive Conflict? Did they fire all their 3d artists or something?

    Umm... they specifically tell you not to grind out reputation. That it is legacy based so all of your toons contribute to your reputation... to be honest i am glad the rewards aren't something over the top. I work pretty hard at mid maxing gear. If you were looking for epic drops and rewards you set yourself up for failure.

    Looking for epic drops and looking for something that isn't just another recolored retread are two different things.  If you're going to give this to people and call it a "content" patch, it should contain some suitable content.  While the addition of a rep system is a good way to add replayability, there has to be something worth replaying and grinding rep for.  It doesn't have to be a piece of BiS gear.  It could just be a piece of orange armor that has a unique look to it.  Putting out the same armor with a new coat of paint isn't a "reward", it's a joke.

    Wow, is this really all the rewards? :D Now I havent logged on to check this out but if the time spent grinding this reputation is anything like it was in WoW then these rewards are incredibly pathetic and cheap.
    I dont see what all the hype was about the reputation when the rewards are on this level.
