Anyone feel or have any confirmation on performance increse in the game ? better fps overall improvements ? ilum runs buttery now since 1.7:)

  • #12 DarthSerious

Is there any info on crafting? For example is the cap still going to be lvl 400, and are the same rare mats used to make lvl 55 items, or is there a new cap so lets say 400 to the new 500, and completely new mats for lvl 55 items?

    Thnx

edit: Did some more browsing, and found this:

All Crew Skills now have a skill cap of 450!

Still want to know about mats at this lvl, and if its completely new mats, or maybe new recipes that use some of the old mats, or still use all of the same mats for end game.

    Thnx

I can tell you that, from having done the new Operation last night, salvaging the droids did in fact produce Grade 9 green materials.  Once I go over the screenshots and video, I'll try to post up what they were.

could pimp up your databank with a ptr version, including all neccessary information for all abilities (SHP Min, SHP Max, AMP, Coeff) to support us theorycrafters?!

Sorry for the noob question, but does this information give us a firmer date for when we need to pre-order the expansion?  I haven't done it yet because I wanted to see if I was still going strong by the time it actually came out.

  • #3 Vox_mortis

Well, I'd imagine that since it's on the PTS, it'll be pretty soon here.  There is still some closed server testing, and I'm not sure whether or not they want boots on Makeb before the expansion launches, but it's a safe bet to say that now is as good a time as any.  Remember that if you're already a subscriber it's only 10 bucks.  Otherwise, it's 20, which still isn't that bad.

Personally I see the expansion breathing a lot of life back into the game.  If you're unsure, update your PTS client, hop on the test server and try it out for yourself.

I've been playing on the PTS for a few hours now and I can tell you that this update is well worth the $10. Lots of new features, 5 more levels, new skills and skill tree's, and Makeb (won't be on PTS at all, so we have to wait until this releases to play it)...

I'm already hooked with the Achievements, so I had to get off of the game otherwise I'd be playing non-stop for the next few weeks. The new Operation: Scum and Villainy is AMAZING! It's really a ton of fun and my favorite Ops by far. I'm also very happy with all of the skill changes to my Sage, so the only complaint I have is that the new tier of gear looks like garbage.

Oh come now. The agent and warrior and inquisitor sets all look pretty good.

  • #7 Vox_mortis

I agree, I particularly like the Agent and Smuggler sets; but, preferences are different for everyone I suppose right?

  • #9 camelotcrusade

Okay, thanks guys, I went ahead and got it.  So I'll be here commenting with the rest of you when it comes out.  :p

  • #10 joeymagz

I do not have an Agent or Smuggler, nor do I wish to level either of those 2 classes just because their gear looks better... All that I know is that Consular's are getting screwed with the gear appearance once again... it's a good thing they have Adaptive gear so I don't have to look completely ridiculous..

  • #11 Blackburn740

    De gustibus non est disputandum.

While you may not like the new armors, others might. Luckily, as you pointed out, you have access to adaptive gear to hopefully find a look to your liking.

  • #15 adamwankenobi

I agree Joey, the new "acheesements" are a nice bit of fun. I have yet to try the new ops, but looks great!

  • #16 MisterBlackJack

I have to disagree with you on the Consular.  I hear you on the Arkanian gear but the Underworld Gear looks badass
