Earlier today, Bruce Maclean made a post to the official SWTOR forums discussing BioWare's plans for SWTOR going into the summer and beyond.  Some of the things mentioned include:

• Nightmare modes for Terror From Beyond as well as Scum and Villainy, featuring new mechanics and loot.
• New flashpoints, a new daily area, and a new recurring event.
• Significant graphical updates

Hey folks!  Going forward, I'm going to attempt to consolidate the news of the day into one post so that you know exactly where to look for all of the most pertinent information from throughout the day.  In today's news post, we'll be taking a look at:

• Eric Musco teased Game Update 2.2 information, and we should see a post tomorrow with more information; he also may have teased a new feature coming up in 2.1.1.
• The recent wave of bans have been investigated, and Eric brings us up to speed on what happened.

Hey folks, today we finally have some relatively solid information on when players can expect to have character transfers go live.  In addition, we finally have some news for all you players looking to get off of the APAC servers as well.  For both news points, hit the jump.

Just a reminder that there will be no scheduled maintenance ahead of the Gree Event returning this week.

There is no scheduled maintenance this week, but the Gree Event returns tomorrow! You can read more about that here.

The next patch will be Game Update 2.1.1, and it's scheduled for next Wednesday, May 29th. The reason we're not doing maintenance on Tuesday as normal is because Monday is a holiday in the United States.
