Make that *run away while shooting*

They've said combat is designed for PvP and that the smuggler is the only class that can run while shooting, and this got me wondering. How will PvP be? I mean it seems like it will rely alot on either stunning the melee users and run away and start shooting or either just stand still and mash abilities.

I think the old KOTOR mechanics should apply here. Many paths with prerequisites per path. Push, pull, jump, speed, spin, deflection should be shared.

yea, i think there will be no major diffrences between jedi and sith besides cosmetics and animations. They are pretty much two extreme sides of the same coin.

sam jackson may not be the best jedi in star wars cannon but he is the coolest. slightly cooler than mark hamill, i give him points for being the joker in the animated batman series and arkhum asylum

I thought the quality of your post, both in content and in grammar, was spot on. :)

man, i wish i had skype. anyway, i think the jedi and sith will share "grey" force powers and open up additional force powers by going light or dark. As you can see from the media, they will share lightsaber manuevers but have different animations.

the release of the jedi looks the best so far mainly because of the evolution of the graphics and the relation to Sam Jackson. Even though Sam Jackson is the baddest mofo to ever swing a lightsaber I'm still going with an Imperial Agent. Killing force users when not being force sensitive seems more satisying than being a jedi to me.

Finally my question to you guys is where do you stand on the whole 4 force users thing. On the official forums people think that there will be a force caster. To me, this makes no sense because we know the sith warrior and jedi knight use both lightsabers and force powers and i dont think spamming force lightning warrants a whole other class.

The members of the DH team possess individual opinions on many different subjects dealing with the game.

Haven't found one that supports the "more than one Force user per faction" side of the debate, because there isn't any substantial official information that supports it yet.

Your English is just fine, I couldn't spot any problems and you like to use commas as much as I do.

A few, the generic ones of course...

Although, as for class change: Trooper all the way :)

A dark jedi, or even a gray jedi should be open to using force choke or force lightning.

Added the voicemail line to the questions/poll thread. We will be taking questions and comments through the voicemail line as well so if you have any comments or questions that you would like to hear in audio format on the podcast feel free to drop us a line using the button on the post above.

They should be able to share many, if not all abilities. For example, Force Choke should be available to both sides. This is the part where you say "Hey Zoidberg! Force Choke is an evil move! It should be Sith only." Now I would agree, but the movies say that it might not be. On his way into Jabba's Palace, Luke is stopped by two Gammoreans. Instead of doing a force persuade he decides to go straight to the choke because they obviously are not weak minded grunts. In some of the games... I think it was Jedi Academy, I was told that the powers are not inherently good or evil, but what you do with them can be. As a result of my rant I voted a few, because lightning was always Sith and Plo Koon invented a light side version of it.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I couldn't find many good places to break it up.

i think the light side version was called force judgment, i might be wrong thougth. It was like a orange firery/electricity thing that did almost the same thing as force lightning.
  • #11 Zoid
Electric Judgement and it ranges from yellow to green. It was a fairly rare ability and the old school Jedi were afraid of it because it looks too much like the evil counterpart.
