When dates are set like that it often means sometime that month/year. Never trust a date at the start/end of a month/year unless it is stated by the people making the game, and it depends on who it is because I dont trust some developers. (cough, cough, Molyneux)

Haha, I agree Zoid, however my gut says it comes out some time around that date, whether its mounth after, its some time around there is what I'm thinking.

I can see the connection between Geralt (sp?) and Jedi now that you mention it, but I don't think I ever actively compared the two before. I loved the Witcher, I bought the European version off line the second it was released and fell in love with it.

The dialogue options were so remarkably un-American in the perfect way. Instead of some stark morality, your choices were grey and subtle, you never really knew if you were making the "right" choice. My friend and I played completely different paths and we saw totally different NPCs because of it.

I hope that the Jedi Knight ends up playing like the White Wolf because I think that is a good mix of sword combat assisted by "magic". If it does end up feeling that way I may change my mind about my force user of choice.

Currently we are trying to think of a new way for cummunity comments/questions. The voicemail line is awesome, and glad someone didn't mind their voice being heard.

It was a different one actually but I went down the tomb that was in the video in the beginning by accident, so I did at least get to see the tomb that is in there. The quest had us travel to another tomb very close by.

I think we're all in agreement on the casual MMO they talked about.

The dog on the other hand is a bit hard to try to keep out of the podcast...bad vader! *points to colm*

Thanks by the way on the comment ;). Glad to hear you enjoy the cast.

I tried to hit the mute button as fast as I can but Vader is too quick.

At least you didnt have to restart the podcast because of him like the original.

The podcast was recorded after the Q&A which is why we reference it in the podcast.

Really substantial and content filled podcast. I’m curious now to learn how many Companions each class will get and whether they are entirely unique per class (or will there be a Companion that is a bit grey and be available to redeem or corrupt by a class on either factions side?). People must be eager to learn (like I am!) if they will have slightly random generated features eg skin tone and patterns etc (is a random name possible with a fully VO game?), or if there will be an army of exact Companion clones running around everywhere...

I personally normally take the Companion I find has the funniest dialogue or the one I’m trying to get into bed with first lol ;-) If those character skill sets are the weakest or most incompatible with my class and preferred spec play style then that will be annoying as I gather you cannot spec or choose skills for Companions as was an option in KOTOR and DA:O for example (or am I way off base?).

My *opinion* on this is based on what Jake Neri told us... the gist of it being that the companions are there to offset your game play style.

While doing some other research, I think James Ohlen told PC Games that they work similar to other BioWare games' companions.

If that's the case I am not looking forward to running around major cities and seeing dozens of clones for my companion. It seems like they could at least do facial features and things like that, and maybe even have at least a few different names for a certain companion(despite that meaning even more VO). If not, maybe it means they think they can give us enough separate companion characters so that a large number of players won't chose the same one.

If we have a larger than normal amount of companions to choose from, I think I might be able to overlook the clones running around. Just my two cents.

Well, keep in mind I'm going off a translation of a German article, and all this companion stuff is still in development.

You guys mentioned the issue of how story will work with the force users. Meaning how can they distinguish the stories for a sith warrior / inquisitor, or jedi knight / counselor. Im confident they can do a good job on the story.

Looking at the sith, if u look at palpatine's story and darth vader's story, they're different. Palpsy was usually lurking in the dark, planning, and being patient while darth hater was the guy who led the charge, and took on the foe head on. (same example for anakin / obi wan, for example in the dooku fight in Ep2, anakin jumped right in while obiwan wanted to take it easy.

I think the story will reflect on these types of behavior. For example the SI will uncover a betrayal within the sith ranks (wow what a shocker) while the SW is sent to the front lines to fight jedi.

I don't doubt that Bioware can spin a good story no matter the class but for myself I will just have to wait and see. Like I said on the podcast, if there is any company that gets a blank check from me on story in games it is Bioware.
