I'd always intended previously to be a Sith Warrior, but now I'm looking at the Sith Inquisitor instead, just because of the double bladed lightsaber not being available to the warrior. I really want one of those, and it's an almost overriding factor - that the weapon is more important than the class. Apparently Bioware have said that they want the classes to be visually recognisable, and that for the Jedi and Sith this is how they are doing it, which to my way of thinking is really really awful. It seems that doing that makes it easier to take healers out first, then the casters, then the tanks... back to the holy trinity and WoW all over...

my avatar should be all that is needed to reveal my main pc (and it hasnt changed at all)...reason being-i luv tanking and in your face combat. i want to drive my enemies before me and hear the lamentation of their women-wait, wrong game!

anyway, my fav world so far is NS (for the criminal element/almost 3rd faction action), but that's not to say it wont switch if Yavin 4 or Dathomir get in.

QUESTIONS:

With one year left to go before launch, is the DH team worried or believe there is plenty of time left concerning the lack of info about the mechanics and details of Stealth in TOR? specifically, how Stealth and the Stealth Belt will work in PvP

2nd Question: Where be my shirt!!1!1one!eleventy! ahahh I'm excited to get it, wondering when they go out to us winners =)

3rd Question: How does the DH team feel about 7 of the 8 species announced for TOR being almost completely human but with different skin color? Does this worry you or do you guys feel that more yet-to-be announced species will be less near human?

4th Question: Is the DH team disappointed with TOR's space combat being a rail shooter?

Voss, my fav cuz of the whole fleet disappearing incident, reps and sith are afraid of Voss yet want to be their allies, "Nightmare Lands" sounds awesome. the Voss foresight ppl sound bad-ass. seems the most original planet so far so I like it the most

I have NOT changed my class choice since April, reason being once I saw the exotic and especially different outfits when compared to the other classes the SI gets over a year ago who also gets a melee DPS AC = my main for sure. hopefully I can put one skill point in a heal box as that's always useful, we'll see

Unfortunately my choice has changed from consular to smuggler. My reasoning for the change is twofold. The fallout from the E3 group gameplay demo video was that people thought the consular was portrayed as and thus only could become, a healbot in groups. I personally was not of that mindset, but the sudden influx of players wanting to play a healer main after that video (evidenced by polling on the official forums after E3) pushed me away from the class. The final nails happened to be the space combat, ship customizability, and Nar Shaddaa reveals (along with hints of Corellia) which play right to the story and gameplay of the Smuggler.

However it seems, that I wasn't the only person who felt this same way, judging by the strength of Smuggler representation in this poll now, a sharp increase from earlier surveys. Who knows maybe at some point I'll switch back again to my original choice for a main in the Jedi Consular, but for now I'm a Smuggler.

I'm surprised Alderaan isn't higher on that list. The little bit I've seen from illustrations, trailers, and screenshots only deepens my interest.

The Consular is still my first choice and I doubt that'll change unless the Knight has some sort of bard-like spec with aura twisting.

Tatooine... I'm not "hung up" on what other games have done with it. I want to see what "THIS" game does with it, and I find the write up on the Holonet to be the most intriguing... can't wait to search the sands and delve into the mystery of why the weapons R&D labs were abandonned.

Class choice hasn't changed so far... IA will be my first and primary (stealth healer with a sniper rifle... nuff said) and I'm still planning on playing a SI for a duo/group play at least initially. Obviously, some of that may change based on "actual" information once the game is released, and also depending upon PVP gameplay as well, but the first character to max level for me will almost certainly be the Imperial Agent.

My choice has been Bounty Hunter since it was first announced. Jetpack, Rockets and Flamethrower FTW! Looks like i'll be very busy on Nar Shaddaa as a BH lol. Can't wait to hand out some pew pew!!

i choose Hoth b/c it's Hoth! i mean come on. I also voted yes to class change b/c at first i thought i'd play a JC but i have since changed to the JK, it looks more up my alley.

I chose Taris because I'm interested in seeing the change since Malek bombed the planet. I also want to fight some more damn racgouls. :)

Also my class changed from a Republic Smuggler to a Sith Inquisitor. It's weird for me because I'm an avid Republic fan, but the Sith Inquisitor looks to awesome to pass up.

alderaan really excites me. i mean. we've all seen it blow up ("you may fire when ready" anyone?) but I'm really excited to see what the planet was like.

I chose Voss because the story there intrigues me.For two factions who hate eachother as intensely as the Sith and the Republic, yet the Voss play only a defensive campaign while the Gormak seek to ahnilate them. I hope to discover in the storyline why Voss shamans decreed never to "kill the last Voss"

As for my class choice, it has remained unchanged. Playing as a hunter and immensely enjoying it in WoW, I have decided that the Smuggler is for me, I may play around with a jedi, but the Smuggler has been my firm decision since I learned about this games developpment.

My favorite class and planet remains unchanged. Bounty Hunter, for the fast-paced combat and ruthless tactics. Belsavis, for the hidden secrets, horrors and possible theoretical PvPvE.

Favourite class: It's a tie between Trooper and Jedi Knight.
Favourite planet: Tied between Coruscant and Nar Shaddaa.

Really, all classes except maybe Sith Inquisitor and Jedi Consular attracts me like hell. And all the planets looks promising too.

Hey, the Consular's not last! (Poor Trooper. Maybe if Hale's the female PC.)

We don't really *know* anything about the Consular, so there's not much basis to change on, is there?

Not asked, but I haven't changed the IA as my second class either. Maybe companion reveals will shake things up. (Or voice actor reveals...)
