The videos of our 'Man on the Street' segment at the PAX 2010 Star Wars: The Old Republic panel are now online. Thanks to everyone that took the time to talk to us. More audio of the 'Man on the Street' segment is coming soon via it's own audio podcast. We hope you enjoy the video version.

*checks in mirror* Nope I dot think I would break the camera.... er.... *sniff* O.o
Good videos tho :)
I am usually pretty well prepared for the breathless waiting after a big con ends. The week following a con, you can find me leaping between fansites like a damn frog. However, PAX is a different animal, and it affects this routine differently than other cons. I would even say I was more pumped for PAX than I was for E3. Just the chance to get some new tidbits to chew on is enough to get me stoked.
Though we didn't get a truckload of info from the devs directly at PAX, I'm beginning to see a bit of a silver lining to it all.
Often times, we get a deeper insight into the game by following DH, TOROcast, TORSyndicate, or Askajedi, among others, than we necessarily do from just following the official site. I can't remember how many times I've been on the forums and someone posted something that came from either this site, or one of the others. While it would be nice to get it all from the official site, the bright side, is that we as fans feel more compelled to follow and engage with the fansites more frequently - and in a small way, this gives us more of a chance to build a solid community.
Since it is very likely that we may run into each other ingame (if any of us roll the same servers), it is good that people are mingling outside of the official forums. I have really begun to enjoy jumping on this site every now and again to find a podcast posted, or another dissection waiting. It's just very cool to see fans go to the trouble of traveling to these cons at their own expense, just to bring interviews (audio, video, or transcribed), and other glimpses into the development of TOR to those of us who didn't have the privilege of being there ourselves. For a game still this far out from release, I am impressed with the level or effort and dedication sites like DH and other TOR fansites go to in order to provide this info to the community. It is very much appreciated.
Now I think I'll just randomly check back to see if the podcast gets posted up tonight.
Thanks again for all the great info, DH.
