I hope they keep the loot containers for hardmode. It does not make the loot more accessible, in fact is a Sith Warrior Helm was to drop and you already had it you would pass but with bags you can't... you get a second and that other SW has to hope he gets better luck next time.

But the one thing bags do is make class variety irrelevant... so if you wanna run that all trooper raid... well it's not a problem, you don't have to worry about all the Jedi and Smuggler gear dropping because it's all in the bags and the bags are custom made for each individual.

and considering how many people want to play a Guardian or Juggenaut, it would suck for all those people to have to compete for the same gear because they feel the need to handle it as a drop instead of the loot container.
  • #36 agentwred
I agree. I don't know why some many people are freaking out about the containers and don't seem to understand them.
  • #38 Paradim32
Also the point of raiding at least to me is to have FUN and not worry about loot. It's about the people you play with on day to day basis that counts. So why not have the loot containers? Lets not make a game a JOB some of us raid once a week and we will be happy with that. You may call us casuals but once that boss is down whether it be hard mode or normal modes that same boss will die again the week after. Some casual players do know how to stay out of the fire so don't mix in casuals with bad players.

Um, the team name is Rotworm, not Rock Worm (as in, Exogorths, which are actually a prominant monster in the EU).

Granted, *Rotworms* are actually only mentioned a few times in the EU.

It kinda sounded like Sleeper couldn't get a word in edgewise due to Sado. Kind of annoying.

I would like to see some more analysis or information from the devs about the crew skills and the type of rewards you get from them. The crafting ones are fairly obvious. You created different items depending on which skill you have. Gathering skills you obviously gather material which I assume will be used in crafting. Archaeology would be items for artifice crafting. Bioanalysis : Biochem. Scavenging : Armortech? Weaponsmith? Cybertech? All three?
Does slicing only give you schematics or does it give you materials for Cybertech?

Do missions skills give you crafting materials as well, or do they give you complete items that aren't as good as crafted ones? Or do they give you other stuff all together like only credits or morality points? What would Diplomacy give you?

If they do give items or materials, I would think the difference between Treasure Hunting and Underworld Trades being the types of items. Treasure Hunting could be more for Jedi Artifacts while Underworld Trading would be for weapons or gadgets.

If Missions and Gathering both give crafting resources than there are 8 sources of resources and only 6 crafting skills. If slicing only finds schematics and one of the mission skills is only for grinding morality or purely for collecting credits than that would bump it down to 6 and 6.

Do you Darth Hater peeps have any insight or theories on this?

Bioware hasn't went into great details concerning crew skills outside of the fact that you can assign your companions to do them for you while you are leveling or logged off the game. You can only choice three skills total. So you could do 1 gathering, 1 crafting, and 1 mission or you could do 3 gathering or 1 gathering and 2 crafting, etc. They haven't said whether you can pass items from your other characters in which case you could pick different skills on your alts to have all the skills. Your other choice would be to use people in your guild and help each other out. As they mentioned at Gamescon certain crew skills might be useful for operations like archeology for finding secret doors. When you choose a skills all your companions can use it. To quote Monty Python, "3" shall be the number and the number of skills shall be "3". No more, no less.
  • #21 agentwred
they also said you can only have 1 of your skills be crafting. And I think recently in an interview they briefly talked about sending items between alts and that right now the only way is through the mailbox just as if it was a different player's character.

Is anybody excited for the possibility of an all Bounty Hunter Huttball game, or any other single class match?
  • #16 lemric
not so much for that warzone. I love what i have seen of huttball but i think it i would prefer seeing all the different classes for all the different things they could do to knock people into hazards. i think it would be cool to see all trooper team in the alderaan one though

edit: although i could see it as being pretty cool if it was in some huttball league matches though. :)
  • #29 agentwred
they should make a league full of single class teams. Certain classes may have a huge disadvantage against certain other classes, but I'd still love to see Bounty Hunters versus Troopers, and Sith Warriors versus Sith Inquisitors.
