Feature:
Open Forum: Game Update 1.3
- balgoth: I’ve done a couple flashpoints with the group finder, both at 50 and low levels, and it works pretty well. Sure groups are hit or miss, mostly hit, but that’s to be expected to some degree. I’m liking that theLFG tool isn’t cross-server, at lvl 50 I’m running into people from other progression guilds getting their daily BH coms and making contacts.
- Autechron: I also would like to see future legacy perks that are focused on all characters in a legacy not individual characters including
Legacy-wide datacron and codex unlocks
Legacy-wide social and valor rank
The ability to access credits from a singular legacy account (yes you can send credits back and forth right now, but think about how easy it is to manage money in Diablo 3 – I would enjoy a similar feature in SWTOR
- spektre188: The UI needs a little more customizability. I love how much you can move it but there are things that I would like to see a little more options. Things like portraits, i’d like to be able to turn them off if I want to. Buffs/debuffs on my target and myself, I’d like to be able to scale them and move them. In the operation frames it’d be nice to control if you see buffs and debuffs as well. And a BIG one for dps is it’d be nice to be able to see just YOUR debuffs, as well as a numerical timer.

Somebody has to do it, might as well be us.

Georg is gone from Bioware huh? Bummer, he was one of my favorites.

  • #2 sado

Same, I always loved picking his brain at the summits.

I believe we will face inflation in economy and imbalance in PvP. "It's a dark day for the Empire."

We see a lot of people leaving but do not see BW hiring new devs, what is going on there?

I would say it takes less devs to keep a game running than building one from the ground up.

Also many people on the forums didnt like the guy as he wasnt afraid to speak his mind, next to Gabe he is prob the most hated dev on the forums.

Personally I loved the guy, he was very active on the forums very informative and i liked that he wasnt afraid of speaking his mind, it sounds like he has left BW to go work somewhere else, so at least he isnt out of work, I for one will miss his posts tho

except for the fact that he was more interested in defending his game choices rather than listen to player feedback and what the people paying for this game actually want.  of course Georg wasn't alone in this (pretty much all of BW displayed this type of attitude).  perhaps from a personal perspective BW has a bunch of "good guys" working there.  from a paying customer's perspective, i found them to be rather arrogant and stubborn when it comes to the game.  the bottom line is that BW believes they know better than the customer when it comes to content/features with TOR.  the rapid decline in subs is a big tell that BW was too wrapped up in their collectively narrow vision of what makes a good mmorpg.
