I don't really understand the whole philosophy behind their free to play model.  They talked about a huge number of people leaving the game because of the cost of the subscription model.  Their model for free to play doesn't really seem to cater to their supposed target crowd  in my opinion.  For the most part it's cheaper and a better experience to sub.  After the initial investment of the necessary purchases from the cartel market (hot bars, purple gear, money cap) I suppose that it would be cheaper to run by purchasing only what you need as you go but I raise the argument that that isn't a very easy way to go about your play.  Of coarse their target is a casual crowd but with the game seeming to push you to a sub, how does this make that 40% of people who left because of the sub have a better experience?

A question for you guyz, Ok so I'm a subscriber but yet I see prices in the cartel market on items that I should get for free being a subscriber.  I just think if your a subscriber to the game then the only items you should see a price on are the ones you have to pay for even being a subscriber like xp boost or lock boxes and so on. This would prevent one from making a purchase of an item that you have for free anyway hmmm like section x.

They do put a big exclamation point with tooltip text along the lines of "As a subscriber you already have access to this, however you can buy this as a gift" for things that fall into that category. So since the idea of a subscriber buying these unlocks and selling, trading, or gifting them to a non-subscriber is part of their design, the prices are visible.

I do think they could have done a better job communicating this. I've seen more than a few subscribers complain that they bought the Section X access because they didn't realize they didn't have to.

p.s. I was thinking  when there isn't much info and news coming out from ToR  a show like this would be awesome.
