I wish they would have had a life day event with a story like they had for the Grand Acquisitions Race. Even juts a few short quests on different planets would have made me happy. Other than that, the items are pretty cool (and Cheesy)

What happens if Makeb is the highlight of 2013?

I just made a login just so i could post in the comments and say that Justin is DEAD WRONG about the people buying the space parts to undercut the crafters, that's entirely what is happening, the parts are selling for WAY below what the mats costs, Crafters got screwed on this, and that's is why i canceled my sub from the game, it expires in 2 days, im out, thanks DH for beign a great site ill be checking back to see just how bad they screw up this game

I think we set Justin straight on that one during that segment ;-) .  I know what you mean about the frustration there though.  I'm also a cybertech, and I would have liked to have spent 700 comms (which I had after doing the new missions) to get the schematic and make a few hundred k, but alas it was not meant to be!  I can definitely understand why that would push you to cancel though.  Thanks for being a fan of the site all this time!  We appreciate it, and hopefully we'll have announcements about something really positive for you to come back to one of these days!

Same here.  Sado dude, your way off the mark.  My cybertech did grind space missions so I could get those schems and they are selling on the Bastion for around 200k a part.  As your fellow podcast members said, its about 800k in mats that go into those.  There is no chance in getting any value out of my schems.  I'm actually pissed that I wasted all the comms getting them now.  I should have used the comms for lockboxes, so I could make some credits selling the mats that came from them.  Instead I got 2 schems that aren't worth shit because the parts are on the GTN for 200k a piece.

The selling of the ship parts is complete BS.  There is no other way to put it.  Bioware needs to stop with this, or they are gonna be in for a big eye opener.  As it is, my cybertech was only good for making some droid parts and some ship parts.  Now that the ship market is gone, because lets face it, who in their right mind is going to buy grade 6 parts when they can get grade 7s so cheap!!!!!!  So now I got droid parts.  Yay!!!!

I guess if they make the prices much higher then many of the new players won't be able to buy them with the stupid low credit caps.

Just another case of how stupid f2p/preferred limitations screw up the game for everyone.

And this was their BIG mistake - thinking of the F2P model as a trial instead of an alternative payment method.

    Canceling over crafting...wow, that's...new.

Also, about the "space grind", I got every grade 7 update but 2 on day one without spending a dime in the market.

I do not like the space parts on the market, but I am more upset for what it might mean for the future as opposed to the present.
