    Darth Hater is currently seeking a handful of talented individuals to become a part of our team. If you're looking to join a fast-paced and highly dynamic digital organization, gain some potential exposure in the gaming industry or would just like to lend a hand helping us follow and report on Star Wars: The Old Republic, keeping reading to see how you might be able to help. We all work as a distributed virtual team and utilize various web services to communicate, track time and project manage, so you must have a reliable high speed internet connection and a working microphone. You must also be at least 21 years old and willing to sign and uphold confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.

  • RSVP for the Curse PAX East Party

    The Curse PAX East party will be happening THIS Saturday in Boston, so don't pass up your last chance to reserve your place on the guest list! With an open bar, appetizers, DJ, arcade, party favors, and green screen photo opportunities, you won't want to miss it.

    If you RSVP now, you'll be able to reserve your pass, putting you 'on the list' so you can get into the party right away. We'll be sending out a confirmation email prior to the party with further information.   • PTS 1.2: Show Off Your UI

    The long-awaited feature to customize your UI and share it with others in the Darth Hater community is live on the SWTOR Public Test Server. Sleeper, our fearless Community Director, wants to see what you created with the new UI customization options and encourages you to post a screenshot of your creation in our Darth Hater Forums thread. Log on to test, create a Level 1 character, and show off your UI!

  • PTS 1.2: Pimp Your Stream

    Darth Hater seeks guilds with Level 50 characters copied to the Star Wars: The Old Republic 1.2 PTS and who actively stream SWTOR content to participate in our Darth Hater Live stream channel. This is a great way to promote your guild, and we're specifically looking for your guild members who can stream participation in Ranked Warzones, new Operation content, and the new Flashpoint: Lost Island.

    Darth Hater currently has several open positions for those seeking to become a part of our team, get some potential exposure in the gaming industry, or just want to lend some time helping us follow Star Wars: The Old Republic. As we all have day jobs, all positions require a minimum 4-6 hour weekly commitment. We all work as a virtual team and use various web services to track time and the status of projects we work on, so you must have a reliable high speed internet connection as well as a working microphone. You must be at least 21 years old, and willing to sign and uphold confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.

  • DarthHaterDB Updated to 1.1!

    We recently pushed an update to our DarthHaterDB with support for all of the new 1.1 data as well as a number of bug fixes. It contains the following fixes:

    • Added 1.1 Data
    • Added filters for items and spells changed in a patch
    • Added the moddable color to moddable gear
    • Fixed up the social ratings
    • Added gender required to tooltips
    • Fixed Range on spell tooltips
    • Added resource cost to spell tooltips
    • Fixed a bug when removing abilities from the skill calc
    • Fixed the skill calc page title
    • Fixed Dromund kaas map
    • Added missing weapon types
    • Added more crew mission drops
    • Filter advanced class and companion choices on profile form
    • Enabled users to submit corrections, Link on Comment form

  • Darth Hater DB Update

    As part of our effort to make the Darth Hater DB the best database out there, we deployed a whole new slew of updates/upgrades to the code that should make the user experience a better and more enjoyable one. Along with those updates come a few new features that should be big ones for the community at large. 

    • New Feature: Item Sets! We now have a list of item sets, and have properly included item set info in item tooltips. Example: http://db.darthhater.com/itemsets/
    • New Feature: Users can now customize spell tooltips, for their level and stats. Ex: http://db.darthhater.com/abilities/910/death_from_above/
    • Added skill requirements to item tooltips.
    • Added armor rating to item mod tooltips. 
    • Added a 'Back to Darth Hater' link on top of page.
    • Added sub-types to recipes.
    • Hid codex entries that were invalid and added missing ones.
    • Added object map to the codex page.
    • Added some missing NPCs.
    • Added a moderator tool to set NPC locations.
    • Added new item categories, and fixed modification and weapon category menus.
    • Added support for diffs and tooltip history.
    • Added a label for items that are not actually in the game yet.
    • Fixed the ordering of skill trees.
    • For objects that have maps, the map will now appear on the object detail page.
    • Added crew mission rewards.
    • Fixed item description and now have screenshot filters.
