Today the Darth Hater team applied several updates to our ever evolving database, including updates to the map system, quests, NPCs and user submitted content. Detailed information regarding what changed, as well as links to the relevant pages are after the jump.
Features and Changes
- Featured and related Darth Hater articles sync to the DB.
- The map system will now only display important NPCs (quest givers, vendors, trainers), and implemented icons for each type. This should speed up the client-side loading speed of location pages.
- Added new edit tools. This includes marking NPCs as bosses, denoting them as hard mode, and the ability to add them to a location.
- Submission of locations are now tracked by user to support our contest.
Data Updates
- Locations for almost all NPCs are in and mapped on the location maps.
- Locations are now automatically marked by their faction (Sith Empire / Republic).
- Appropriate NPCs are now related to Flashpoints.
- Updated majority of quest data to current state.
- Merged several duplicate NPCs.

Posted 12/10/2011 5:27:56 AMMiddle mouse click to open a link in a new tab when clicking on inventory, items, abilities and so on still does not work well in chrome. It opens a new tab, but also acts as a left mouse click on same link in original window.
