As part of our effort to make the Darth Hater DB the best database out there, we deployed a whole new slew of updates/upgrades to the code that should make the user experience a better and more enjoyable one. Along with those updates come a few new features that should be big ones for the community at large.
In our effort to make Darth Hater the number one destination for all things Star Wars: The Old Republic, we have recently added a new feature, our own Dev Tracker. With the inclusion of this new feature, users can see, filter, search, track and receive updates from the latest developer posts on the official forum without having to leave your home for SWTOR. Here are just a few of the many features you will find inside:
Inclusion of Legacy Forums dating back to October 2008!
RSS for all categories
Sort results by Subject, Activity, Latest Post
Incremental update times around 30 seconds for ALL SWTOR forums.
We invite you all to hammer at our new Dev Tracker and hope you find it to your liking. If you find it useful, tell a friend.
Most of you are probably already familiar with our fast growing Darth Hater Database, however, we would also like to encourage our readers to visit and help contribute to Wiki SWTOR!
Be sure to head over and check it out, or learn more about what Wiki SWTOR offers after the jump!
As early access continues and more people are getting to play Star Wars: The Old Republic, Curse has put together a couple videos to celebrate the approaching launch of the game.
The first video introduces a contest that will award one lucky winner a copy of The Art and Making of Star Wars: The Old Republic. This 160-page hardcover book is filled with art from the game ranging from very early concept models to final versions that appear in the game. In addition to the wonderful visuals, the book contains some great insight into how BioWare got involved with the title, how Knights of the Old Republic influenced SWTOR and what it takes to become a writer for BioWare. Please visit the official sweepstakes page for full details and rules.
The second video follows Pico from Curse around a mysterious alien world as she asks its inhabitants whether they've pre-ordered SWTOR, their thoughts on the planet, and for their best Chewbacca impersonations.
