SWTOR-Station Gamescom Preview

SWTOR-Station had the opportunity to play the demo that the Bioware team is showing at GamesCom and came back with some great info on the game. One piece of the information talked about in the preview that struck us had to do with the notion that there will be multiple Sith or force user classes:

We asked Richard Vogel, one of the studio managers at Austin, if the addendum "Warrior" means that there might be two force sensitive Sith classes. His answer was a bit cautious, but it suggested to us that this isn't the case.

They now have a nice video of the inside of the Star Wars Booth, as well as an interview with R2D2 at the booth. (Too bad nobody can understand him)

Amused statement. True, master. The allure of a meatbag-killer class actually reduces the amount of meatbags there are to kill.

I wonder if this means that Jedi will be more Force focused? You know, just to make the two more unique.

Either way they're already hinting at talent builds so I am sure multiples of the same class will be unique as well.

Just as long as you can change your talent tree without penalty. I'm a sucker for customization and playing around with new builds.

I can't even count the amount of money (in-game currency) I have spent on respecs in WoW for raids. I hope it doesn't cost anything in game if they allow it even though I know it will ;).

Good, making half the classes on each side Force/Saber Wielders would make it boring. If I wanted identical classes on both sides, I'd be back playing SWG.

Yeah I wasn't a fan of what people were saying about there being multiple force using classes, that would get pretty boring to me.

An HK-based class would be better than another force-user. Our whole story could revolve around pleasing our master by killing meatbags.
