Hints at Advantages/Weaknesses in Saber-wielding

Sean posted a reply to toke, one of the users on the forum, explaining how the different saberwielding styles will have their own advantages and weaknesses like in Kotor:

Thanks for the update though
While we are not to a point where we can give out specific information (because it is not done yet), there will be bonuses and weaknesses when either dual wielding or using a single lightsaber.

It's a small but important reveal nonetheless at this early date. It can be presumed that the same could apply to multi-blaster use as a smuggler.

Not quite true Zandi. Darth Vader was unable to use Force Lightning(or repel it) due to both his arms being artificial. So you do require certain body parts for certain abilities.

I always expected the same kind of trade offs for using dual/double-bladed lightsaber wielding etc that i've become used to from previous/past star wars games such as the 2 previous kotors.

As long as all skill/talent tree routes/paths are viable in Tor then i'm happy, it becomes a problem when they overpower one hilt style over the others be it single-bladed lightsaber,dual-lightsabers or double-bladed lightsaber because every Jedi or Sith Warrior player would then flock to that hilt type and we'd see nothing but clones with the same hilt & no individuality between players.

It does make sense that dual-wielding Jedi/Sith can't use the Force(no free hand to Force Push), and that dual-wielding smugglers/troopers can't throw grenades(no free hand). Those would be good weaknesses that make sense.

I've always been a fan of Dual-sided sabers myself but it would be nice to see some weaknesses to it, never saw really any in Kotor 1.
