Gamespot: High Resolution Coruscant Reveal Trailer

Gamespot has uploaded a high resolution version of the Coruscant reveal trailer we posted earlier. This version of the trailer is a bit higher quality than the one we posted. Even now after more than ten times of watching this reveal it is still just as impressive.

    Wow. I cannot wait for this game. Coruscant looks beautiful.

    Oh and at 1:31 - Public Transport? Like the trams or Zeppelins in WoW?

    That's what I thought when I saw them.

    Some people seem to think they will get to be one of those flying transports whizzing around Coruscant, but there's no way. That's just nice background animations in my opinion. Exploration won't be quite as GRAND as some people are hoping. :)

    Maybe air taxis will operate like gryphons in WoW, automated rides from the air taxi driver. It would make sense, since the air taxi pilots have to have special training to navigate the skyways. Plus it'd give a nice scenic view of Coruscant as you get around.

    Maybe later in the game they could expand Coruscant and let you fly your own. They could probably do player flying with boundaries like Battlefront or SWG. But I'd be happy with just the air taxis we ride in. :)

    If they do let people fly in Coruscant I foresee many mid air collisions, not the neat lanes of traffic.

    It'd be hard to make it work, but it'll always be a dream of mine. One day ... a few Star Wars MMOs into the future ... :D

    To me this feels more like the Star Wars we know ... all of the planets so far haven't been in the movies and aren't all that well known - and this video just hits the spot.
    It'd look awesome at night :D

    Fingers crossed at flying through the buildings on a speeder :P

    Re-watched it several times now and it seems you see the Trooper plus some NPCs, maybe companions fighting. Then you cut and see a BH and some NPCs, again maybe companions, fighting in what seems to be the same/similar area. The BH does Death from above etc.

    For all we know if maybe an Instance/Flashpoint on the planet they were showing, who knows until we get more info.

    I am just wondering if lower levels of Coruscant are PvP zones. I say this becuase you see what looks like a Trooper and his companion fighting a BH and their companion.

    Maybe this is Bioware's first hint at PvP zones?
