GameReactor interview confirms battlegrounds

In an interview from GamesCom that was just recently posted on GameReactor, Rich Vogel confirms the existence of Battlegrounds. No specifics on what form of battlegrounds or anything else so do not expect to find it here in this interview or this early in the development cycle.

Battlegrounds, IMHO, means team based instanced PVP. It is a Blizzard term that was ingrained in people's brains over time.

im probably just missing something, but whats this stuff he's saying about being excited for others to be playing TOR right now? i thought it was still waaaaay too early for that

He probably means the playable demos at GamesCon and PAX that people have been playing. They've been able to see people playing TOR out on the convention floors.

He dropped it so casually, I wonder if no one told him they hadn't announced that yet, or else it's never been a secret and it just hadn't come up before.

This isn't much of a surprise, but it is good to see this confirmed. Should put a lot of baseless rumors to rest.
