Friday Update: Composing the Sith Inquisitor

The Friday update is live and it's time for future Sith Inquisitors to get another glimpse at their class of choice, this time from a writer's perspective. Sean Dahlberg posted about the update earlier today on the official forums, including a brief preview from the author of this developer blog, Rebecca Harwick.

Writer Rebecca Harwick takes us down the path to the dark side as she composes the Sith Inquisitor

How to explain the Sith Inquisitor?

I could tell you that the Sith Inquisitor is the Emperor Palpatine to the Sith Warrior's Darth Vader, but that sells it short. The archetype is just inspiration. It's not the destination, or the road we take to get there, but the guide. The Sith Inquisitor is Raistlin. The Sith Inquisitor is Lucifer. The Sith Inquisitor is Julius Caesar. The Sith Inquisitor is what you make him." - RebeccaHarwick

More after the jump
A few minutes later, Sean responded to claims by some in the community that BioWare is focusing too heavily on the Sith

We will have more info on other classes coming soon. In fact, I believe we've had a blog on most every class except the Jedi Consular so far.

Something to note, there is no "biased" towards the Sith Inquisitor or the Sith Empire. We put out assets when they are ready to be released and some things are ready before others. We have blogs written for various things and, as with any asset in the game, it goes through an approval process to make sure its ready.

Ironically, it wasn't that many months ago where the talk was that the development team was biased towards the Jedi and the Galactic Republic...

Either way, it's nice to get another view into the creative minds behind Star Wars: The Old Republic; doubly so in a time period when many in the community felt the news was getting light.
