In this section you can find new information and media about the galactic inhabitants that will entertain and challenge you in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Inhabitants will be updated regularly, so be sure to check back often to get the latest updates and information!
Darth Hater consensus speculation is none of the described Inhabitants are playable so far, including both Humanoids.
Plus, we were informed about three more characters we may see in game:
We've expanded the Biographies section of the HoloNet to include more of the exciting figures you will meet in Star Wars: The Old Republic!
This update includes profiles of three of the most influential people in The Old Republic era: Galactic Republic Special Forces commander, General Garza; the fierce warrior and sole ruler of the Mandalorians, Mandalore; and the star of the Deceived cinematic trailer, the ruthless Darth Malgus!
This is just the second in a series of regular updates to the Biographies section so be sure to check back regularly!

Posted 5/4/2010 1:19:19 PMBTW DH, the aurebesh on Mandalore's biography page says "Mandalore the Vindicated", not "Vindicator".

Posted 5/2/2010 12:42:58 PMI mean, "most famous kill" in the Darth Malgus key fact box or "bounty" for Satele, what other purpose could that have? As already someone pointed out, maybe the bounty is a hint on possible player bounties. Most famous kill, may be some sort of PvP bragging right?
Might very well just be arbitrary "nice to know" facts.

Posted 5/1/2010 6:18:55 AM1) Timeline video talks about Sith infiltrating the Jedi and about sith sent to eliminate threats to the Emperor
2) Timeline video ends by mentioning sith infiltration and the Star Forge image
3) Darth Malgus' aurubesh says he's a friend of Mandalore, but it doesn't specify which
4) Tyvarion's speculation about Malgus being the Emperor's apprentice
Put them together and Malgus IS Revan! Stay with me... He's friend's with Mandalore the Preserver, Revan found the emperor while still a Sith Lord, came back and infiltrated Bastilla & Co so that he could take down Malek who could have been a threat to the Emperor and then went back to him when all was said and done.
Now if that doesn't bend your mind...

Posted 5/3/2010 1:16:03 AMIt would also account for Malgus' Vader-esque life support (assumed).

They could all be adolescents.
Mutation or genetic engineering would produce extra limbs, evolution would be less likely. All the animals you see with two heads or extra-limbs typically result from mutations in utero induced by chemicals or radiation. Evolution isn't as likely for reasons too long for me to want to elaborate.

Posted 4/30/2010 9:55:43 PM" THEY ARE EVEN CAPABLE OF ANALYZING VOICE PATTERNS TO DETERMINE THE TRUTHFULNESS OF AN INFORMANTS STATEMENTS. "
sry its in caps on the website and i just copied it.. thats the only reason its all caps..
Anyway i realy like this bc one of the things i love in Bioware games the most, are the chat options... having the astromech droid pretty much means that it will unlock new chat options to catch someone in a lie :) and i love it
assuming he will be a companion... but the text pretty much tells us he will be a companion, in a non-direct way
edit: I just read the "Darth Hater consensus speculation is none of the described Inhabitants are playable so far, including both Humanoids." part...
I'm not sure if you guys consider companions under the category of playable, but judging by what was said i give it a very good chance of all these being companions... I mean, they pretty much tell you where to buy / recruit a number of them (x2-c3 on any imperial base / ship; salky hound on black market, etc)..
