Although I really loved The Force Unleashed.. There were several things that made the game kinda blow.
1. The targeting system was terrible and could easily make someone rage. 2. The same strategy for beating mob got hella repetitive. 3. The story line was kinda bunk. Star Killer ?? Seriously, I mean I understand why they did it, so you could fight Vader and such. It just seemed a bit too much for reaching out to Stars. Not to mention this guy pulls a Star Destroyer out of the sky? What F*n ever dude!!!! Oh ya and that part of the game was terrible since the targeting thing again didn't work right.
But it still was hella fun smashing things around with force and saber powers. Although I do hope that you can actually turn your saber off in the new one.
Which leads me to wondering what the story for the new one is going to be ? I mean isn't the dude dead? Assuming they go off of the story line that he went to the light side and tried to kill the emperor. Best I can think of is that he is a clone of and this takes place several years later, maybe just before ROJ and he is struggling with discovering who is and what side of the force he is on.
On a side note: I noticed in Target the other day they had a "Star Wars: Bundle" with both KoToR 1/2 for PC, plus a few other games. I have yet to play any of the KoToR game's. Think I should pick it up for $49.99?
Also I might pick up FU1 for the XBox 360 used. Never played it.
KotOR 1 is on Steam for 9.99, if you would like to try it out I would suggest getting it there and see if you like it. If you do then you can look for KotOR 2.
to me the force unleased is the best represention of the force. and what it might be like to actualy be a jedi.
playing through the game after you have all your skills and powers maxed out would be what I think playing a sith or a jedi in SW:tor if the classes skills and abilitys were based on just the cannon, and not balanced for game play.
I don't know. Loved the first one played it through four times, really liked the force mechanics. I didn't really get most of the reviewer's scores on the game.
This is the one time I will claim to be a gray jedi.
I have mixed feelings on the game and can see where all opinions come from. And since this will be my one example of me staying in the grey, I will spell the color/colour the American way and the English way to stay in balance.
