Hoth.... then comes dathomir, dantoonine, yavin IV, geonosis, ZIOST, Ilum.... just to make Emlaeh happy.

Hoth is beautifully rendered. I really hope the trend of releasing planets in ascending levels of difficulty sticks so that I can spend more time on Hoth. That and smacking fools off of the high ice cliffs to fall to their doom is too much of an incentive not to leave.

Not sure why so many people are disliking that Hoth is included. There were only two planets in the game that even the most casual Star Wars fan would know, Coruscant and Tatooine. Hoth is a nice addition.

    13 planets!

The article that they (videogamer.com) posted about the Bounty Hunter game play was wayyyyy to negative and critical. I mean, I don't want articles to be only super positive about TOR and I def don't want to be on the non-criticism TOR bandwagon, but hey at least note both things that you find to be positive and negative about the game or your trial experience. I think that is fair and does justice to the fans following the development of the game so they can analyze that article in comparison to others better. Plus, if someone is going to write an article like that, you should do your research first before making particular comments or speculation. The guy based his play-through ONLY on the information that he received in last years summer E3 conference and basically said the game has not progressed at all and "noted problems" that Bioware has more or less officially addressed (sometimes subtly) SINCE E3 2009, but did not take any of that into account. Well, at least I know the community on DH have been closely following the development of the game and I respect that when DH officially puts out something, they consider all angles and all previous information as well before judging the game or speculating.

Person isn't happy at "we won't talk about it until its ready" and among other things. IMO person needs to take out his personal feelings when he writes the articles. It doesn't help when one misleads the public especially on old info that's based on last years e3 build.

There is another article on swtor.com about the Bounty Hunter hands on. It's in Dutch but forum member Fdzzaigl did translate it for us. You can find it at: http://swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=2965641#post2965641

He also had a great quote about exploration. Further corroborating Emlaeh's experience on Ord Mantell.

Hoth...really? Does BioWare need to create reasons just so we can run around an 'iconic' iceball?

looks good, but i'm sick and tired of the spoilering of fridays updates. This makes friday updates useless. It's the third consecutive week now...

Ya why do they always do that!?

I thought the same exact thing.

Man, I really wish it was April 1st today. We already have one helluva coincidence with backwater Tatooine in the game. But an even more backwater and obscure, out-of-the-way planet like Hoth? Ridiculous. Enough of the familiar just because it was in a movie!

Next, we'll have Dagobah--but you know, it's funny--Dagobah has more of a reason to be in the game than Hoth, what with the Cave and all. But I still wouldn't want it thrown in.

Why are we seeing planets that were so obscure, they were good hiding places? They were without history, and now we're seeing excuses for them to be not-so-unknown. They were better unknown!

Star Wars is full of planets that are utilized and then forgotten to history as they become irrelevant. As we've seen in the movies and books, it's very easy for a planet to become lost over a period of decades. Thousands of years? Even more so. It doesn't require much of a stretch to say that some time after the events of TOR, this planet is once again forgotten.

This is true. But I still think it's a stretch, since there are so many other planets it could've been. Out of all those possible worlds, why does it have to be one we've already seen? We could've had a new world to come to know and love.

Dagobah can't be in the game cause that would create a conflict in the lore since it wasn't discovered until later on. Just cause Rebels used Hoth has a base in empire strikes back doesn't mean some other group in the star wars history can't go on it.
