As I said in the forum to me it sounds like the Enigma machine from WW2 and the Umbra Encrypter is either in one of the prototype Republic ships or in the secret Chiss base.

I could see either of those as a possibility. "Umbra" is latin for shadow, so maybe it has something to do with a cloaking/stealth system, or maybe the 'shadow' of Hoth (something to help deal with the immense cold?)

none of those possibilities have anything to do with encryption (Shadow Encryptor). After thinking about it further I am 99% sure that the Umbra Encryptor is a Sith communication device that prevents the Republic from listening in on what they're transmitting throughout the galaxy to organize their forces.

The vertical, right side of planet text appears to be present and different in the planet backgrounds I've seen so far. Very hard to read either way.

Yes, for some reason it's particularly difficult this week.

If someone has some image editing skills, messing around with that text could make it easier to read. I inverted the colors, but the small difference between the background and text color didn't help.

That's the problem I'm having. I don't have Photoshop installed at the moment, but I was messing with it in Paint.NET and just ending up making the JPG compression noise more visible.

I'm not that skilled at photo shop but if someones having trouble with finding the section they're talking about I shrank the area down.

If you remember the interview with the one site content managers, can't remember who, he/she wanted to make harder secrets that would require you to mess around with the colors.

IT was the holonet translation project who had interviewed with the content manager. MasamuneX got some good details on the future Aurebesh.

I like the Emperor's look.. decoy, mouthpiece, or otherwise. Reminds me of Ra from the Stargate movie

With the white robes he reminded me of the Centauri Emperor's four telepaths on Babylon 5. Two would always travel with him, two would stay on Centauri Prime. That way, he would have unfiltered knowledge of what was going on back home.

The Aurebesh is rather tricky to find this time.

Not much new info from the planet entry. The Emperor "reveal" leaves a lot open to discussion still. Exal Kressh being the Emperor's apprentice is intriguing too.
