So, it will be on Alderaan and center around the Empire's attack on the planet. It appears that Malgus will again be in it. We'll get his backstory on how he got the mask. As predicted by many here, the troopers will be showcased. I also saw a Bounty Hunter next to Malgus, possibly the same one from Deceived. I didn't catch any Jedi in it, but I assume there will be some.

Oh, and Republic-side commentary this time!

Very cool. The trailer takes place on Alderaan, and we see a pre-masked Malgus, and learn how he came to get that mask. They showed a making on it, and a 10 second preview. Saw some troopers, and Malgus, and Shae Vizla again. We have to wait until E3 for the full trailer.

Will DH be posting the Behind the Scenes for TOR later tonight for those of us who don't get Spike? :D

I'm really hoping to see Fortris, LT. Tavus, and Satele Shan and in the cinematic. They made an awesome team back in the TOP comics, which I must say are awesome, now that I've gone back and read them again. Throw in Gen. Garza for good measure and it would be an epic trailer. I'm probably asking for too much, but I can dream can't I.

G4's Attack of the Show just said that Tuesday they'll have a half-hour with BioWare and TOR to show off new stuff. Could be something worth tuning in to. :)

I wonder if the Smuggler will get any love in the cinematic as well. Can't wait until tomorrow!

Lol, I spent half of this morning trying to figure out where I had seen that log before. Thanks DH.

Alright... I confess... that promo spot for the GTTV pre-E3 show at 11pm this Friday got me... it really got me. Hey, I'm not made of stone here people!

Man, some friends of mine were already complaining about me focusing on a game that is roughly a year away from release... after this E3 they will join the hype, or be destroyed. If find their lack of faith... disturbing...

Yay, Trooper in trailer! Will be epic.

    YESSSSSS! Troopers FTW!

I agree. I got the same feeling upon reading this. Troopers are awesome!
    Republic Special Forces FTW!!!

I can't wait to see the trailer.

Also, the havoc squad-logo on the teaser image looks like it's from the shoulderpad of the Trooper on another Trooper concept.

Too bad we've seen this kind of armor before. I'd like to see something different for the Trooper. But that's just nitpicking I guess :)

Nah, you're right. I mean, what they have will look good, but it is quite familiar. Would've been nice if they'd gone from the styles in the original Tales of the Jedi comics, and worked from there and beyond. Instead, they took styles from the movie era and went into the future from there, which...I guess...brings us into the past. The circle is now...complete?

I think it's probably the same reason they put a planet like Hoth into the game. Some things are familiar and therefore comfortable for fans, so I guess it works out, regardless of the lack of logic.

Anyway, it'll be cool no matter what, even over these annoyances to detail-oriented people.

Oh the excitment! I had a gut wrenching feeling that the next trailer would showcase the trooper. We don't know yet, but it seems pretty clear now that the trooper will make an appearance. I love jedi and sith, but I hope this trailer focuses a little more on the other non-force using classes. This way it will give those classes some real excitement.
