Star Wars: The Old Republic debuted a new Friday Update feature today titled Studio Insider and demonstrates systematic concept art creation from Diego Almazan of a Flesh Raider and a Community Q&A section. BioWare's Daniel Erickson answers questions about group questing mechanics, helmet toggle options, Advanced Class roles, and returning to origin planets. If you would like to ask the developers a question and possibly be featured in a future update, BioWare is soliciting participation from the community to post their questions in a thread dedicated to the function.
The update also included this month's Fan Friday, and includes artwork by Yssta, lightsaber graphics from WovenKash, paintings from Xanfel, fan fiction, emoticons, wallpapers, costumes and avatars. Community members also showcased their Halloween costumes, and new polls are available.

Community Q & A Thread:
Joanne Laroche
The Old Republic community has a lot of questions and we want to answer as many as we can. In fact, we're starting this new discussion on our forums solely dedicated to finding out what you want to know. Each month we'll create a new thread for you to ask questions in. We'll be reading and reviewing all of your questions and featuring some of them to be answered in a future Community Q & A section of the Studio Insider!
Questions need to be about Star Wars: The Old Republic and can range from small details to general questions. Future threads may be topic specific, but this month we're leaving it open for you to ask anything related to The Old Republic.
Some things to remember when posting:
- Please keep questions courteous and respectful
- Avoid duplicating the same questions in the same thread (it's okay to post the same question in the following month's thread)
- Limit yourself to asking one question per month
- Please do not bump posts. Your post will be seen; there is no need to continually bump it or post a repeat of your question.
Keep in mind, as well, there are some questions that we're not able to answer right now, so if we don't get your question answered specifically it may just be that we are unable to talk about it at this time.
Thanks! We're looking forward to your reading your questions!

Posted 11/19/2010 7:33:36 PM*EDIT* For clarification, I don't want to have a quest where I just grief lowbie players. I mean something more along the lines of being sent to a high level section of Tython, maybe away from where players are leveling, to do something like plant a surveillance item or assassinate some figure. It's just a cool dynamic to feel like you're going into the lion's den to complete a mission, and I hope to Aquaman that they'll incorporate something like this.
