Gamespot revealed a new flashpoint trailer: Taral V, intended for players level 32 or higher. Your Republic team must rescue an important Jedi prisoner. Gamespot conducted an interview with World Designer, Jesse Sky. When asked about the game's state, Sky said, "Development is going very well, and were all happy to be heading into our homestretch." For our take on the contents of the Flashpoint Taral V Trailer, check the media gallery below for the Working Dissection. Note: As always we will be ignoring things commented on in past dissections. We will be adding more to the gallery over time so make sure to keep checking back throughout the weekend. If you see something that you think we should add, feel free to comment on it and we will credit you for the find in the image.
Pic 15, the new driod type, they from that hidden army in lore. Sorry can't remember whose army. I know I have seen some droids/troops that looked like that somewhere. No luck so far on search.
Anyone else notice that the Zabrak in this looks exactly like the one in the Warzone PVP video? Maybe that's the answer to the Guardian/Sentinel question, since the Zabrak in the Warzone video was a Sentinel.
- Disappointed in seeing the 'Big Boss' formula used again. Was looking forward to seeing a more 'zerg' based Boss Mob encounters (liken back to their 'heroic' formula).
- Not crazy about the Smuggler Stealth. Not sure how they should do it, but just not impressed with the digitization effect.
- Eye detail looks good.
- Gameplay still looks stale to me, instead of being captivating.
- concerned about the Enemies in the game. Seems a little 'Droid' heavy, imo.
This may have already been brought up, but I don't recall seeing it before. Its hard to catch but at 48 seconds, along the left side of the bridge, you can see the consular running full speed when she casts the boulder throwing force power. It appears that moving has no effect on the cast time for the spell.
A comment to the last picture, the blurred poster... to me it looks like an advertisement. Speculation: In game advertisement for crafters, credit symbol possible a cash amount, and name of crafter/organization to contact? This looks very much like a dress/armor no "race" needed.
It was a bit weird at first, seeing the dissection in its own gallery instead of on the page here. I guess it keeps everything clean though. Now all we need is a comments section for each pic, especially once the relevant article for a pic/gallery goes off the front page. Like the comments on the pics on the official site.

Posted 2/2/2011 10:00:29 PMSeeing as the Scoundral is a stealth/short range fighter it makes sense, to me at least, that they have something like this up their sleeve.
