The Old Republic: The Lost Suns. A five-issue series set during the timeframe of the highly-anticipated MMO The Old Republic, The Lost Suns is set approximately 3,600 years before the movies. It stars Republic spy Theron Shan, son of Jedi Master Satele Shan, and packs explosive revelations relating to the events of the game. For this tale the games senior writer Alexander Freed reunites with the Blood of the Empire creative team of Dave Ross (pencils), Mark McKenna (inks), Michael Atiyeh (colors), and Benjamin Carre (covers).
The magazine's cover also advertises original SWTOR fiction with an image of Darth Malgus, which may be the short story Deceived author Paul S. Kemp alluded to back in December. Star Wars Insider hits the newsstands on March 16.

Also, I like how Satele's son was foreshadowed long ago, with her bio's aurebesh mentioning "a secret son", even if having the same last name as his mom blows the secret. :P I wonder if the bit on "Jedi exiled her mother" from Satele's bio will also tie in to the comic. Maybe Theron working with his grandmother?

Posted 3/3/2011 1:09:52 PMThe question that comes up, in my mind at least, is his age. Assuming he was born 0-1 ATC at the earliest, and speculation that the game is set around a decade after (10-11 ATC), he'd be pretty young and all that jazz. If the comic gives away a Bio for Theron, then we'll roughly know how imprecise our time measurements were with respect to when in the timeline the game started.

Posted 3/3/2011 6:28:38 AMTake your time Bioware to make the greatest game ever that is polished for amazingness, we would probably all agree that, that factor is the number one priority over any idea of rushing a game for release... but just please be open with the community and let us know when we might expect a release, even if it is not the news we are excited to hear about or even if it is going to be on time. (a post from stephen reid doesn't count lol)
Other than that, I look forward to getting this comic when it comes out!
