Darth Hater's playthrough of the Star Wars: The Old Republic Taral V Flashpoint is online and embedded below. In the video Misenus (Pete Trerice) representing Darth Hater plays the Jedi Knight (Guardian), Eric Musco from TOROCast plays the Smuggler (Scoundrel), Lethality from Ask A Jedi plays the Trooper (Vanguard), and Zach from Mos Eisley Radio plays Jedi Consular (Sage).     Great peak at the goods! By the way, I really appreciated the your using a tripod for the video; I could watch it full screen without puking in my lap.

    Nice video.

    We now know why they havent given a release date there are still a lot of bugs by the looks of it. I wouldnt expect it out until 2nd half of 2011 at the earliest based on the fact that Mobs are still bugging out and you cant skip cutscenes without the game crashing.

    I hope with the extra time the will have they will scale the difficulty up because it looks too easy and sort out the UI cos it looks too large and clunky atm.

    i really like the UI. it's simple & keeps everything together...less moving things around later.

    AT 10:31 and several other times throughout the video I kept seeing lightning. Do Consulars have a force lightning ability of some kind? Sorry for noob question, I don't pay well enough attention to republic classes.

    I would like to think that Pete's success was largely due to my briefing the previous night. /cough just saying. The flashpoint is just as fun as it looks, and the boss is pretty challenging. The group I was in was able to get the boss down to 5% before we wiped the first time. We adjusted our strategy on the second attempt and were about to have great success when we ran out of time (this will forever be burned in my memory! I wanted that hat!).

    I played the trooper, which was the most fun that I have ever had as a tank. I've seen some comments about why people were just standing there tanking up close when the tank is ranged. For me it was really the lack of slowing abilities, combined with the fact that you have to stand still to use several of your best tanking skills. That and the trooper is equipped with some skills that are designed to handle damage up close and personal (like the Gun Stock attack which deal a lot of damage).

    Today my goal is to get a hat...one way or another..............

    well of course Lug, you've always been my tank for years in previous MMOs; your advice is not only listen to, but passed on when others asked if there was a sweet strat to use. I'm usually ranged deeps, so the pointers helped us smash the flashpoint to the surface!

    My play through on Friday as the Knight I did do that; the guy playing the trooper grabbed a bit too much agro, and it works flawlessly. Lethality, from Ask a Jedi, did an amazing job as main tank. There's a few times in the video you can see me pointing the strat out as off tank.

    SO with your game play experince here was the mouse in use during the turning aspect or just raw keyboard? Kinda wonder because that would be a huge change without the mouse
