New Screenshot Revealed on 300,000 Facebook Likes

Today, Star Wars: The Old Republic reached 300,000 likes on Facebook. With that feat accomplished, BioWare unveiled a new screenshot, which makes this the second image coming from Facebook this week alone. This screenshot features a Sith Inquisitor on Dromund Kaas rocking a double-bladed lightsaber while listening to the sultry tunes of the latest and greatest of the Empire's bands on his Sith Pod. In all seriousness, it is a great screenshot and shows off the progression of the development of SWTOR quite well. There is also speculation abound as to what Senior Community Coordinator David Bass means when he stated on Twitter "Hmm. Wonder what that screenshot means..." Feel free to hash it out in the comments.

On the Imperial capital world of Dromund Kaas, a Sith Assassin prepares himself for a fight by readying his double-bladed Lightsaber.

For ease of reference, we compiled a Facebook Image of the Week Media Gallery containing all the images which you can view below.

anyone see how the FB image and one of the GS images of the SI are basically the same... kinda lame but oh well

Gamespot just dropped the Sith Inquisitor video early Its on their site.

Also Geonosians in the class trailer. Interesting... Guess the chances of that arena showing up in game is going up.

Thanks for the head's up...holy cow that was awesome! "Unlimited power" ftw. Really looks interesting and even though i'm going Sith Warrior, i love what they've done with the Inquisitor.

I thought it was a pretty epic video! Reading the interview now.

Yep. New Screenshot of a Sorcerer too.

EDIT: Forgot we couldn't put links.

Rookie - Shards of Alderaan (Republic Justice)

  • #57 neobluemax
yeah I tried that too with the link.

Force shield ability looks interesting. The build of the Inquisitor is hard to determine. We see force cloak ( which blows away the smuggler cloak) Force shield, lightning and I think a life force drain. Alot there. No double bladed saber though.

edit: Just make Inquisitor my first class I think. Dropping BH

Since it's a publicity trailer, there's no telling if we're seeing a particular build or if it is just showing off various powers used by the Inquisitor in general.

Good point, I'm thinking that might be the case. But in the past they have kept to one AC theme right? Either way looks cool. I they put cloak in the madness tree(think thats the shared one) then thats one more thing to differentiate from smugglers and IA's
  • #63 DarthShnooky
I could see cloak working for all specs -- Assassins can use it going into a fight to engage, while Sorcerers might use it to escape when overwhelmed, which may be helpful if they are squishy. She seemed mostly like a Sorcerer, single blade and mainly showing off ranged attacks. That Dark Side bubble was pretty sweet, i must say!

OH Man I hope they put cloak in the madness tree. This is most likely a Sorcerer and not an assasin based on the saber and powers. Can we call the life-force drain an in combat heal? I recall reading about a power to heal yourself by leeching from your companions, this one is different in that its from enemies. Same ability different target perhaps?

Sounds like some SI info is coming up?

    INQUISITOR VIDEO?!?! :333333
  • #53 Jecalips
Yeah, SI armor progression video is my guess.

That or Bass is having fun with the "everything we put out gets completely dissected" bit, probably an armor progression video though.
  • #44 heybarn
Victor von Doom is a Sith then?
  • #65 Jaramukhti
    That was my first thought.

I love the look of the Inquisitor, I must say.

I hadn't seriously considered it among the handful of classes I intend to play first in SWTOR, but that is beginning to change. I could see myself having fun with this class, and enjoying the look of their gear.
