Btw, guys... the Jawa's name is Blizz, not Blitz.

From Stephen Reid (aka Rockjaw on Twitter):

"For all of you who think you know why Blizz is called Blizz: you're wrong (and no, I won't tell you yet). "

One of the Bioware interviews somewhere in the past few days said you get Blizz on Hoth... I wasn't sure if he was trying to be funny or not (since the gameplay all week has been on Tatooine, and that's where Jawas are mostly known from). But if true, then that could make the Blizz/Blizzard name make some sense. I think Hoth has been known to have snowstorms on occasion.

yea i saw that too. It would make sense because they also mentioned blizz is a companion you get late game. Daniel Erickson also said in his demo / Q&A that he shouldn't have blizz yet when on tatooine (and since Hoth is a higher level planet that makes sense).

The two other factors pointing towards hoth, are the name and the fur lined hood. So yea basically Blizz is a late game companion from hoth... poor thing musta been cold :(

very nice video indeed. liked that comment about the SI taking too much damage in the beginning, because in most coverage before it looked like you could go to the loo infight and still win it in the end.

the radius to loot looks to be pretty far, thats good IMO.

Star-zombies? That's a little disappointing. Maybe this'll be the only time they come stumbling out. We can only hope

I HOPE NOT!! I'm really hoping they add Yavin 4 after launch, or include it as a flashpoint/operation with sith abomination/zombies for bosses and trash mobs. and with armor/loot like the one guy was wearing after he returned after being trapped there, in the time line

I agree with you on that count, zombies are everywhere these days, I really didn't want them in Star Wars but I guess we are out of luck on that one.

This is hardly the first time we've seen zombies in the Star Wars EU. I believe it was the Death Troopers book that did it first.
  • #31 Vanlan
No it wasn't. They've appears a couple of times before that. I think the first time was as Korriban Zombie zombies in the "Tales of the Jedi: Dark Lords of the Sith" back in 1994.

    No way... It's the BORG!

"We are the Borg. Existence, as you know it, is over. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile."
