As your character progresses in Star Wars: The Old Republic, you will gain experience and strength, learning new skills and earning more advanced gear.
The Bounty Hunter is feared across the galaxy for his ability to track elusive prey from the bustling metropolises of the core worlds to the further reaches of known space. As his targets become more evasive and his enemies more powerful, the Bounty Hunter will learn new skills and abilities to match the advanced weapons and armor he discovers during his travels.
Watch some of the paths along which the Bounty Hunter can progress to get a brief glimpse of the armors and abilities available as he grows in wealth and glory.

Posted 7/1/2011 4:45:50 PMThe blaster effects were cool, for sure, but I liked the first BH armor progression video by far because Death From Above way way more animated the first time, rather than "I fly up and pew pew 5 times and then a rocket". That makes it seem rather boring thing to do that could have been done on the ground instead. Then came the wrist blade, and all was at peace again.... temporarily.
That last scene.... my god was that convoluted. He kills four doods (more like duds, but hey) and then a giant monster comes out of nowhere from down a long ass corridor in the Collector's ship, just to bash on this guy? What, did he aggro Harbinger or something? BH goes pew pewz, doesn't work, so he uses missles. Those don't work, so he's then justified in using a rocket uppercut? Could you tell if he had the wrist blade from the Powertech armor or something, otherwise you'd probably be more productive using rail shots or something other than your fist.
A much better way to shoot the final fight would have been to kite the guy while stacking the heat seeking buff then shooting super powered rockets at him.

Posted 7/1/2011 7:37:23 PMHowever, the BH gameplay in this video just looked boring and overly 'coddled' -- It looked like something my 7 year old nephew scripted (and then Bam! I kill him with a super punch...). Even Luke's fight with the rancor took longer and looked less cheesy.

Posted 7/2/2011 1:32:18 AMSecondly, that guy didn't look like Cthulu. Do not insult the Old Gods by comparing their relative beauty with the spawn of a rancor and gamorrean PoS. Plus, he had crooked teeth.
