Thanks for posting this. It was really quite interesting. It seems from the way the were, for lack of a better word, 'checking' what they were saying all the time, there are still a lot of interesting things we don't know. I reckon the next few months are going to have some pretty cool Friday updates.

Thank you DH for posting this it was very cool to see this kind of interview even though some answers would of been nice to hear but it was the 'we cant talk about that'.
    But much thanks posting it

"JO: Yes, if you decide to thread the needle and you decide to be a neutral character, there are items specifically for you."

Great news. Finally a specific answer to this question. Thanks to the guy asking in such a clear way.

Well, I don't really get the neutral thing. In this game it appears that you have light and dark decisions. Mass Effect tried to demonstrate that doing something good does not erase the fact that you have also done something bad. Now Star Wars encapsulates the idea of redemption, but in general, look at the Colombian drug cartels, they build schools, hospitals, low cost housing and all sorts of great social works, but they also kill politicians, police, judges, and anyone else who pisses them off.

They are evil, not neutral. I get the question, but it bothers me. It's not something I will do in this game. I played a neutral once in Kotor and found the circumstance less than thrilling.

In KoTOR Dark Side was really poor, and since Gray is even less of a priority it was downright shoddy. It was poorly done that was it. It is all about making the decision to invest as much time and effort in all the branches you can take.

    Woo, my questions were answered.

I was surprised with how the two of them were so candid about some of the responses we received. I defiantly felt like the community was engaged with the development team, and hope similar opportunities are provided in the future.

James Ohlen really has a darkside, he like to tease and joke about not stuff being in or not! :D

After the last q&a, I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of this one, but I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of some of the questions and the responses that we got.

This was probably my favorite q&a of the week.

What's up with the possibly no party members on your personal ship? That was a surprise.
  • #31 Furycrab
Because they don't want your personal ships to be where you hang out most of the time and produce ghost cities with ships overhead you can't see but are filled with all your players.

A lot of features for this would probably be on the wall of crazy.

I'm curious why no one asked:

What do you get for participating in the space combat minigame? Do you need to participate in this at any point?

Yes, less people there; plus adding questions from Twitter instead made for better questions in general.
Especially since David Bass can filter-out the most stupid questions from those on twitter as well :)

Possibly the way they had it working didn't end up being that good and they scrapped it, which would then cause it not being in at launch.

QnA seems to be alot of the same stuff. Until they are able to release any new info I will be waiting for the new questions. I like that all these people have questions because I am hardly ever able to think of anything. Thanks DH for the coverage

Might want to listen to the part about early access start again. He clearly says "days MAYBE weeks", but will be determined closer to launch.

kinda sucks that the holocam takes still pictures but it still could be interesting depending on how it is implemented.
