Something missing from the dissection is that at around 0:44 we can see a Jedi Shadow pull up something other than a water heater from the ground and throw it, it looks like a droid to me!

You can see it a little more clearly in this video at around 1:18 (watch out for the terrible audio!)

This is the first time we've seen this, as far as I know!

    RE: Huttball

Darth Malgus: Pitiful Huttball players of the Republic, I am Darth "Bubblegum" Malgus, commander of the Sith Invasion Fleet. For generations, your puny Republic has lived in peace while we have waited. But now, for no reason, we challenge you to defend your honor on the Huttball court. Will no one meet our challenge? Have none of you pathetic Jedi GAME?

Random republic citizen: What happens if we lose?

Darth "Bubblegum" Malgus: NOTHING! There is nothing at stake and no threat, beyond the shame of defeat!

according to gamespot, it sounds like empire and republic players can be paired up on the same team for The Pit

On the topic of player versus player, Butler unveiled a new warzone coming to TOR called HuttBall, a "brutal spectator sport" that doesn't draw the line at the game's normal faction division. Instead, the two teams in HuttBall are randomized, with light and dark players intermingling on both sides. The object of the game is to capture and transport a ball across the opponent's goal line. Of course, the other team will be trying to kill you along the way, and there are numerous traps littered across the playing field. Success lies in not being a ball hog and in knowing when to give it up if you're about to get creamed.

No, what they are saying is that can be Empire vs Empire or Republic vs Republic matches.

Yeah, I think the wording just wasn't incredibly clear. Looks like the interview on that German fan site has verified though:

Will it be possible to have mixed team in HuttBall ?

For HuttBall, no Mixed team available for the moment, no sense storyline wise and also difficult technically.

Oh man, how cool is the Imperial Agent's "recharge" ability - he's looking through holo-schematics and stuff. Awesome :)

Hey, uh, wasn't the Early Access Press Conference today? I assume they talked about the chat ui in that one..

Why is it they got the old school Storm Trooper look going on an not the ToR look? An Darth Vader look to? Really. I would think EA would invest in some new ToR version of outfits. O well its starwars but it just made me wonder is all

Because it's probably just some Star Wars cosplayers who got paid for the gig. The 501st does stuff like this all the time.

Ive got people a few people I know in beta an we talk about the game an whats is happening an one of the things was about that clip you got here. An the announcer you hear on that warzone is hated by a lot of testers. Its found to be annoying I guess among the chatter in the warzone arena. One felt it seemed like it was ToR's version of An american gladiator.

Oh, there were already awards for the best games at gamescom, and SWTOR won the best online game

Here are the other results, it is a german site, but the most important information are the winners, anyway

Edit: sorry, havent seen that is was already posted

Close one there. Diablo 3 could have one best online game there. :)

Can't tell if sarcasm or... :)

Good point though. Glad TOR won it - but come on, look at the animations. How could it not?!

In my opinion, swtor is the best game / pc-game / online-game...

But when you look at the awards, it really feels like politics to me...
There are so many really big names at gamescom, and they try do bring the biggest to the awards so that most people are happy with it...

then again, it is not really important and just my 2 cents ;-)
(and of cource swtor has a new award in their vitrine)

Aurebesh at the end of the Pit video is "Czerka Corporation"

EDIT: Didn't see it was already done in the dissection.
