Something missing from the dissection is that at around 0:44 we can see a Jedi Shadow pull up something other than a water heater from the ground and throw it, it looks like a droid to me!
You can see it a little more clearly in this video at around 1:18 (watch out for the terrible audio!) http://youtu.be/85K_hemIJlU
This is the first time we've seen this, as far as I know!
Darth Malgus: Pitiful Huttball players of the Republic, I am Darth "Bubblegum" Malgus, commander of the Sith Invasion Fleet. For generations, your puny Republic has lived in peace while we have waited. But now, for no reason, we challenge you to defend your honor on the Huttball court. Will no one meet our challenge? Have none of you pathetic Jedi GAME?
Random republic citizen: What happens if we lose?
Darth "Bubblegum" Malgus: NOTHING! There is nothing at stake and no threat, beyond the shame of defeat!
according to gamespot, it sounds like empire and republic players can be paired up on the same team for The Pit

Instead, the two teams in HuttBall are randomized, with light and dark players intermingling on both sides. The object of the game is to capture and transport a ball across the opponent's goal line. Of course, the other team will be trying to kill you along the way, and there are numerous traps littered across the playing field. Success lies in not being a ball hog and in knowing when to give it up if you're about to get creamed.
Why is it they got the old school Storm Trooper look going on an not the ToR look? An Darth Vader look to? Really. I would think EA would invest in some new ToR version of outfits. O well its starwars but it just made me wonder is all
Ive got people a few people I know in beta an we talk about the game an whats is happening an one of the things was about that clip you got here. An the announcer you hear on that warzone is hated by a lot of testers. Its found to be annoying I guess among the chatter in the warzone arena. One felt it seemed like it was ToR's version of An american gladiator.
In my opinion, swtor is the best game / pc-game / online-game...
But when you look at the awards, it really feels like politics to me... There are so many really big names at gamescom, and they try do bring the biggest to the awards so that most people are happy with it...
then again, it is not really important and just my 2 cents ;-) (and of cource swtor has a new award in their vitrine)

Posted 8/19/2011 7:01:35 AMWill it be possible to have mixed team in HuttBall ?
For HuttBall, no Mixed team available for the moment, no sense storyline wise and also difficult technically.
