i noticed that 1:30 and 5:55 in the video the Sith Sorcerer gains a temp buff with a visual effect of lightning and smoking hands after casting the lightning storm

I can completely visualize myself falling off that catwalk.

Wow those Razer products look AMAZING. They're really expensive though. I'm probably only gonna get the mouse and keyboard. Maybe the mouse pad too I'm not sure.
  • #32 HighFive
Did they just talk and not show any video/gameplay?

By the way, if anyone is wondering about that SWTOR limited launch copies at retail and digital - Rich Vogel confirmed that back at SDCC

"The other thing I want to mention is the pre-orders. If you order pre-orders, it's first come, get it now to get in line for pre-orders because we are going to do a limited launch. Because of the big demand that we're having we are going to limited launch. So the sooner you get in, the sooner you'll play our game. Pass it along."

Limited launch sounds like another buncha marking bull... The argument is really weak and its gonna take 2 hours to get queued up anyway when it goes completely live..

My god so many nerdgasmic moments. Ahem. I mean, yeah, sure, game looks sweet I guess.

I find it odd that Georg Zoeller isnt around for the big presentations and such... i mean he is german and (presumably) speaks german fluently so why not just use him to translate... that way they would be sure that nothing would get lost in translation...

Hes locked in the bioware dungeon working on our game =D
  • #20 bonkers
bug fixes probably a higher priority atm :)
  • #29 Kaiser
You mean replying to Trolls on the forums :)

    ::fingers crossed::

Although, I'd be willing to bet that he (and a bunch of the other high profile guys) are resting up and getting ready for PAX Prime ...

... not all who wander are lost ...

  • #25 Oddball_E8
Well, its just odd since hes actually german... if i was the boss of a company, id make sure that the guys on the team that are actually from the country youre doing promotions in are actually there when that happens...

seems like a waste of resources...

    Is he really fluent, though?
His German in his posts in the German section of the TOR forums is pretty broken.

I just saw a play-through interview with Stephen Reid the community manager and was wondering if you guys could confirm something. When a dead mob has loot, there is a whitish-beam of light highlighting the corpse to let you know to loot it. However, there was one point in the video where one of the corpses had a green light and when he looted it, there was a green item within. Does that apply to all the loot types, will we see blue or purple lights when mobs drop rare/epic items?
