Darth Hater is at this year's Eurogamer Expo in full force with our in-depth coverage of everything related to Star Wars: The Old Republic. If you are attending, remember to look for the Darth Hater shirts to identify the team on the show floor and all other events throughout the convention. If you manage to get your hands on the game in any of the sessions, please share your commentary and thoughts with the rest of the Hater community on our official thread. Thursday
- Floor Hours: 11AM - 7PM BST (3AM - 11AM PDT)
- Day 1 Teaser - Day one is underway at the Eurogamer Expo in London, and as usual, Darth Hater is out in force to cover Star Wars: The Old Republic. It is uncertain how much new information will be gleamed from the convention - seeing as BioWare is showing basically the same content as Gamescom - but UK gamers are finally getting another chance for hands on. Even better for the Brits, we heard that this first day of the Expo only has five thousand or so attendees, making the lines much shorter then most previous conventions. The SWTOR booth in particular is moving very quickly, with lines as short as 40 minutes for the twenty minute demo.
Friday
- Floor Hours: 11AM - 7PM BST (3AM - 11AM PDT)
- Day 2 Teaser: Its day two of the Eurogamer Expo in London and we are already off to a rousing start. While the traffic was once again initially slow, the crowd quickly increased with the hall becoming more and more packed by the minute. The morning saw a series of origin world play at the Star Wars: The Old Republic booth but the gears shifted to Huttball at noon. I (Dover) spent some time at the helm, leading my(his) team to victory over the Rockworms, but its probably just beginners luck. Daniel Erickson and Rob Chestney joined the BioWare crew on deck with more folks coming out of the woodwork each time you turn around. Its really turning into a big show for BioWare in Britain.
