NYCC 2011: Meet the Fans

During day three of New York Comic Con, the Darth Hater staff caught up with several fans and captured their impressions of Star Wars: The Old Republic gameplay. Fans representing a good mix of experience and play styles shared their thoughts on Origin Worlds, Warzones, Classes, tactics, pre-orders, and plans for launch. And we're not quite sure what the Wookiee was saying, but it appeared as if he really enjoyed the game too.

Please note, the audio quality is not good due to some issues we had with the recorder. It is recommended that you keep the volume level in mind when watching.

Pretty cool to see people that don't play mmos and how they perceived it.

wookie interview was very cool to see as well as unexpected. And wow... There was some serious nerdage going on at the con.

Thanks for throwing that up, was cool to hear from ppl that played. Was there some flirting going on there with Adie??

From what i could tell, everyone who tried the demo enjoyed the game. It's hard to get thrown into PvP as a level 14, but ppl get the hang of it after a few minutes. It has a familiar feel that any gamer can relate to.

None of the videos do this game justice. Hands on, will make anyone a believer for sure.

I played the trooper for about a total of 3 hours this convention. My impressions of the game have been exceeded. I dont even want beta now, I just want to start my adventures.
