    Pick the correct answer. Raid was canceled due to:

    a) lack of healers;
    b) main tank DCed;
    c) wiping afternoon on trash (no finger pointing, but somebody haven't read the tactics);
    d) loot drama and rage quit - a BH rolled on epic lightsaber for his CC;
    e) escape pods were shot down by jawas with rocket launchers;

    This is too easy.

    b & d) Guardian rage quits and dc's because the Jedi Sentinals ninja'd his tank gear for their off-set. Currently LF one of the 5 total trooper vanguards on the server who aren't spec'd pvp so the duel-glowstickers can continue to keep looting the offset pieces.

    So bitching for no reason aside (seriously guys, I expected this from the official forums, not here), notice that the graphics in that video were turned much higher than the one Daniel Erickson showed us on the EA site. Good stuff, especially with shadows.

    I was going to say the same thing, this was the thing that I found a little dissapointing yesterday with the Tattooine video, and now that I see it with maxed graphics (are they maxed or we can still expect more details?) im happy :)
  • #64 Kaiser
    Well they didn't say if it was maxed, but it was much, much better quality, and you can tell even with the bad camera lighting :)

    glad i called it and lower my expectations on E3 unfortunately cant say ill be putting any stock tomorrow.
    cant even imagine how the meet and greet was handled.

    "will their be any word on a release date" -- i bet you one of them is going to ask this question again after the 1000th time.

    I expected more about TOR on E3...Its funny i thought there would be a good amount of raid info but all they pretty much did was confirm that there are raids by showing a 2min video lol. (no amount of r Oh well still got tomorrow i guess. I can wait another 6 months ;) i guess.

    The only thing just shown on G4 was D.E. showing 4 Republic characters storming a castle in Alderaan going to face the one tyrant King that we've seen a pic of. He also said that this particular demo was not a Flashpoint or Operation, but part of a 10 quest story arc. It then ended seeing the King and jumped to commercial. The host kept pushing for a release date and D.E. said 2011 for sure. He talked about speeders and that you can steal other faction vehicles if you're crafty enough.

    It was the exact same demo they had for Gamespot yesterday. My favorite part was the guy on camera making it look like he was playing the actual game. It was seriously the exact same in game footage from the "live demo" the day before. Pretty crappy to hype up a boss fight and not even show it.

    Some of you are really pissing me off!! Your acting like 5 year old's who asked Mom and Dad for that sweet new toy for Christmas and come Christmas morning when you don't get it start "jumping up and down" screaming "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you....this is the worst CHRISTMAS EVER!!"

    I'm going to assume that those of you bitching are adults (18+) so start acting like one! If your not an adult then you have an excuse. (albeit a small one) Stuff happens, it's not the end of the world. I want to play, own, see, get more info, etc as much as you but "WOW" some of you need to learn "perspective and patience".

    Lol, i think you need to chill a little. Everyone is just voicing their disappointment with whats been shown so far. when you have a game thats been hyped up as much as this there's always going to be disappointment. There is still one more day of E3 left, but I'm not holding my breath for anything else besides what's already been shown.

    Aww c'mon man, be easy. Don't act like you've never been disappointed before even in your adult life. I'm pretty sure at one point or another a woman may have dissed you that you wanted to get with so badly and you had a fit behind closed doors or cursed her to a world beyond and back.

    People are entitled to voice their feelings of disappointment for something they've waited years for. Just as you may not admit your disappointment on the way things are going on with SW:TOR.

    Never had that issue with regards to a women ;). But I will openly admit I was disappointed to learn that ToR was not going to be ported for Mac's at launch. To me that made zero sense and was a huge opportunity for potential market share and consumer dollars loss.
