A few weeks ago we announced that Phase 3 of our Pre-Launch Guild Program had begun. Phase 3: Deployment allows guild members to see whether or not their guild qualifies for transfer into the game. As we approach Early Game Access for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, we want to remind all of you in guilds that the Pre-Launch Guild Program will end on December 2nd, 11:59PM CST so that guilds can be assigned to servers for Early Game Access.
This is your last chance to:
- Make any changes to your guild
- Ensure your guild meets requirements for deployment into the game
- Designate your guild’s Allies and Adversaries
- Review and accept pending guild applications
So how do you ensure that your guild makes it into the game for launch? It’s simple! All you have to do is make sure at least four members of your guild have pre-ordered the game and redeemed their Pre-Order Code at our Code Redemption Center. Once you’ve done that, you can check your guild’s page within the Guild HQ to see if you have met all of the pre-designated conditions.
If your guild does not yet qualify for transfer to the game, you still have time. Visit our Pre-Order page, secure your copy of Star Wars: The Old Republic, and redeem your Pre-Order Code to help ensure that your guild makes the cut for launch!
To learn more about guilds in The Old Republic, check out the Guilds Game System page for details and visit the Guilds FAQ for answers to commonly asked questions.
*Customers who pre-order Star Wars: The Old Republic will be able to play the game before the official launch. “Early Game Access” is the period of time before the official game launch when pre-order customers may access the game. Early Game Access may be up to 5 days. The length of your Early Game Access depends on the date and order in which you redeemed your Pre-Order Code at the Code Redemption Center. See Pre-Order FAQ for more details.
**We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that qualifying guilds are imported into a server that meets your specified preferences, but we cannot make any guarantees given the anticipated volume of guilds (among other factors). All server placements therefore remain in our sole discretion. We also cannot take responsibility for technical errors or glitches that prevent your guild from importing into the game as planned. See Terms of Service for more details.

Posted 11/23/2011 7:29:24 PMYou do realize nothing is stopping the rest of you from cancelling at Pawnstop and ordering from someplace reputable that actually gives you codes?

Posted 11/24/2011 1:18:53 AMWell there isn’t nothing stopping us, but there are a few things. A few of us had trouble with other retailer’s too, same problem no codes. We could have done it online, but most of us either dislike Origin or don’t want to go through the trouble. I’m just sad to see it go because I was the one who made it day one of the guild program and hoped to have the guild name under my name on early access, but it’s no biggy I’ll just have to do it in game now. On the bright side I get to pick a server now :)
Edit: just heard that we might get are last code this weekend fingers crossed :)

Posted 11/23/2011 2:12:33 PMAnd when is Darth Hater's guild going to declare some allies and adversaries?

Posted 11/24/2011 7:29:02 AMIt probably was. And they probably decided that they would be best off if the their guild was a bit more exclusive. I assumed they'd want that from the beginning. As much as they may enjoy being celebrities, they want to be hardcore players more.

Posted 11/23/2011 11:39:19 PMI also thought this, Since numerous DarthHater personas had also posted in the DH guilds SWTOR mini forums. I can only Surmise that DH was going to go the Tankspot route and be 'the' destination for 'how to' Class builds, strategies, flashpoint walk-through videos and the like. It's sad to hear that was wrong.

Posted 11/23/2011 4:52:21 PMI understand their reasons for not wanting a publicly known guild. I wouldn't want to have to disable whispers just to avoid being harassed non-stop in game, and it singles you out as a target of interest for grief-kiddies/guilds, especially if you play on a PVP server.
I just wish that the Darth Hater guild on the swtor side had stated up front exactly what ties they had to Darth Hater, and what sort of involvement in the guild we could expect from the official DH site staff.

Posted 11/23/2011 4:24:21 PMYeah, I guess the DH crew has their own little clique and won't be seen with the commoners come launch time :(

Posted 11/23/2011 4:04:53 PMInteresting. Does this mean that Sado is just a fan, or is he an actual representative of DH who is organizing a guild with no real ties to the site?
My take on the Darth Hater guild was that it was a placeholder guild until the DH crew finalized the details on a guild that they would be running themselves. Obviously I was mistaken, but I suspect that there are a lot of people with the same false impression.
