Coming Up in Star Wars: The Old Republic Trailer

BioWare released a new trailer today detailing some new features coming to Star Wars: The Old Republic. Game Director James Ohlen shows off some of the the systems being implemented to the game including a new Warzone, PvP ranks, new Legacy details, guild banks, and UI customization. He finishes by saying they'll be listening to the community for feedback and new features to be added in the future. You can see the full video embed past the jump.

    maybe im biased here but i feel a large portion of the disatisfaction is due to the size of and expectations of the community. That being said, the Ilum debacle was pretty heinous but not really any different then some of the issues i saw in EQ2s, Wows and even Rifts infancy. I just think SWTORs fanbase is a lot more rabid due to the IP.

     

    May just be me though :P

    This PVP issue will be forgotten in a couple of weeks. WoW was basically unplayable for the first 6 months, and Blizzard killed/ rezzed PVP several times over the last 7 years. Did not seem to affect them too much.

    IMO, TOR is in a much better state 1 month into Launch than any other MMO I have ever played.

    And this here is why I didn't rush to end-game content, knowing damn well that there was going to be issues etc.  I have two mains 1 rep/ 1 emp and I'm in the low 20's on each playing about 20 hour's a week.  I've played every single questline on every planet and just started going back to started worlds to play those lines.  As I mentioned I'm loving the game and by the time I hit IIum I expect a lot of these issues to be fixed.

    SUCKERS who rushed to end game!  LOL

    BINGO.

    I purposely took my time for the exact same reason. My main is 50, but I have yet to go to Ilum. I could smell something foul in that direction right away, and I have chosen to take part in other activities. Unlike Ilum, the fps and ops have been fairly smooth (for me). I have been able to get some sweet gear, and have enjoyed every second. 

    This is a new MMO. A new MMO is going to have growing pains. It is inevitable, gospel, eternal. So it was written, so it shall be done.

    I was thinking it was just a Dark Side Jedi with gear off the Nar Shadda AH.

    Nope, he definitely used the more forceful stab of the Sith Warrior. I have a Jugg tank and a Guard tank, and the difference is definitely noticeable between the movesets. That is definitely a Miraluka SW.
