Datamined: 1.1.3 Public Test Server Changes

Darth Hater discovered some minor fixes on the Star Wars: The Old Republic public test server (1.1.3 patch notes): schematics for Exotech adrenals and stims are now blue quality. We are constantly poking around, so keep an eye on this post and we'll update it with additional undocumented tidbits as we find them.

As a side note, we noticed months ago that BioWare included content for upcoming patches in the game client; we can reasonably assume this is intended to reduce the download file size of future major game updates so players can come home from work and play the game in a reasonable time frame after patching. For example, we found hints of a new planet, Denova, back in early January. Both Darth Hater and DarthHaterDB realize that story is extremely important to many players, so we decided to include this information in DarthHaterDB -- but not call out it out specifically unless it was related to combat or item information. Much of this upcoming data (and even current NPC conversations) is readily found by players simply browsing through the database and connecting some fairly obvious dots.

Darth Hater contacted BioWare to see if this old client data is still relevant, and here is the official statement we received:

Andrew WongWe are currently working on a lot of great new content for our upcoming game updates for the rest of this year and even into 2013. This includes new stories, new planets, new higher level group content and new game features. These designs are constantly evolving over time as we are listening to real time feedback from our community in order to refine and improve the experience.

ARMSTECH.  Why is Bioware ignoring this prof?  They've given so much attention to Biochem and Cybertech but have yet to even mention Armstech in official posts.  They say they're adding more schematic drops for the other profs by name.  And have not mentioned Armstech.  I'd feel more comfortable if they at least recognized Armstech SPECIFICALLY as a prof that needs attention.

What about Armstech patterns? Are they just going to ignore us forever?

    Arms tech.....

I have found 2 recipes of weapons in hole game so far... had huge problems improving recipes (some still cant be improve no mater the number of item I'm R.E.) and i don't make anything useful at endgame....

a short description of my profession :P

Its actually a planned decision by Bioware. They had planned, ever since the games inception, to screw over anyone that takes Armstech. Just for fun.

Do you honestly think that? sigh

In the time it took you to think of what to say and type it out, you could have hit 50/400 cybertech. I know there's people out there who hold onto it just for the hope of it becoming useful in the feature, that's their loss. I ended up powerleveling CT in one sitting a week after I hit 50 with all my leftover mats. Make a sustained 350,000 (before cost) credits a week selling armor and mod inserts.

Just so much more profitable than hope, don't ya think?
