Posted 3/6/2012 4:33:54 AM>Georg: We want more of that, but we also don't want you staring at the screen watching for these >indicators instead of watching the action.
Weird comment. As this is what I am doing right now - staring at little icons to see if a buff pops up. In my opinion some big visual feedback is needed (like WoW's "Power Auras").
Also needed: Font/Fontsize configuration for Buffs/Debuffs (or something like if cooldown length/Buffname is shown or not - a cooldown bar would also be nice). Also filterable buffs/debuffs would be nice. And freely positionable buffs/debuffs. And buffs/debuffs alternatively as icons and/or in the "Satrina Buff" like way. A system to
prioritize specific buffs to be shown at certain corners of the operations frames (known in WoW as "Aura Indicators") might also be interesting for the future, though right now there is not as much focus on debuffs that this is so much "absolutely needed" in swtor probably.

Posted 3/6/2012 11:12:45 AMThe degree of polish in raid UI you are asking is I think way beyond the means of what the SWTOR devs can handle at the moment. I would love to have grid implemented here in SWTOR with mouseover macro, agro indicator, aura indicator, buff/debuff icon, incoming heal indicator etc. However, it's unrealistic to expect it from the game at the moment.
At the very least, they should let us change the size of the debuff icon in the raid frame. There are some debuffs that I would like to follow as a healer.
Also, we really really need a target of target frame.

Posted 3/7/2012 2:32:58 AMAnd my point is, because, as you point out they cannot deliver this polish on RaidUI they need to add Addon functionality as soon as possible. Then other people can take care of it. As to target of target you mentioned - we get this with 1.2 appearently.

Posted 3/6/2012 4:26:36 AMIs it just me who thinks it is downright stupid to mix legacy pwn skills with already unbalanced Companions thrown into the openworld pvp-mix. "Wild West Crazy" sounds more like "Wild West Stupid to me.
Just imagine 50 vs 50 chain-choking eachother to death - Talking about one button fights with zero skills attached.
The idea of pwn skills for pve is cool, and a fun heroic twist. Weather you like that everybody being able to force choke stuff to death. However, I would like to see it has no use for pvp for reasons alrady stated, and it can be done quit easy by not being able to targets players with such attacks.

Posted 3/6/2012 5:36:41 AMprobably because it would be a stupid idea, you can use legacy abilities only during a heroic moment for which you require an active companion which means......

Posted 3/6/2012 7:02:35 AMJust to elaborate the idea behind, in case you didn't follow up with the guild summit information. I think it was Daniel mentioning that, if two chars are related through blood there is a chance that both would have some kind of connection to the force which can explain a bountyhunter related to a Jedi being able to cast a force ability.

Posted 3/6/2012 2:44:38 AMWhat i remember hearing about the LFG tool is:
- It will be a all purpose tool.. PVE, PVP, Heroic quests etc etc in one tool.
- It will be in-Server only for PVE, in the future cross server for pvp(not 100% if it comes out with cross realm PVP)
- it will come out with 1.3 if i remember correctly ^_^ someone could confirm this.
