Early this morning, BioWare released a trailer for the Novare Coast Warzone coming in Patch 1.2. In the trailer, fans get a close look at a few of the combat mechanics and objectives at play in the new Warzone.
Quote from BioWareOn the war-torn planet of Denova, opposing forces vie for control of Novare Coast, a strategically vital beachhead that leads to the open oceans of Denova. Whoever controls this coastline will have a decisive advantage in taking control of the planet. To secure the beach, sides battle for control of three mortar turrets which can be used to pound the enemy with artillery fire.
A more subtle announcement came via the trailers page that shows showed the release date for Patch 1.2 as April 10th.

Update: Since the last update, the date is now gone from the trailer page.
Update 2: Joveth Gonzalez responded to the date thread on the official forum with this response about the date.
Quote from Joveth GonzalezJust to confirm, we are not going to be deploying Game Update 1.2 on Tuesday. This was a minor text error that has since been corrected. I'll be closing this thread and redirecting you all to this main discussion that is currently underway. Rest assured, that you will know ahead of time when Game Update 1.2 is going to be released.
Update 3: During the PAX panel, Game Director James Ohlen mentioned 1.2. However, it isn't a direct quote so keep that in mind, we'll update you all when we have it trasncribed fully.
Quote from James OhlenOhlen: SWTOR, for 2012, we want players to feel like they are getting their moneys worth. Huge changes additions, 1.2 coming next week (slipped, corrected himself). Defiance, will be built around the tvshow and community.
