This week’s scheduled maintenance will occur on Tuesday, July 3 from 2AM CDT until 8AM CDT. Star Wars: The Old Republic servers will be down during this period and when they come back up, players may have to download a patch.
Hello everyone, we wanted to let you know that we will be performing scheduled maintenance for six hours on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012 from 2AM CDT (12AM PDT/3AM EDT/8 AM BST/9AM CEST/5PM AEST) until 8AM CDT (6AM PDT/9AM EDT/2PM BST/3PM CEST/11PM AEST). All game servers and SWTOR.com will be offline during this period. This maintenance is expected to take no more than six hours, but could be extended.
If and when a patch comes up along with the servers, we'll have the patch notes available here. For the original post in its entirety, visit the official thread.

Posted 7/3/2012 6:58:40 AMIt's not too bad for us Europeans -- but for the guys in Asia/Pacific, this basically means losing 1 evening's play every week (5PM till 11PM today because it's 6 hours).
If Bioware actually had regional teams doing patches and updates, the maintenance for each region could take place in their overnight period, meaning minimal disruption.

Posted 7/2/2012 8:22:24 PMI hope they'll fix the new bugs introduced in 1.3 with the tanks in HM Denova, but I have a feeling that they won't.

Posted 7/2/2012 12:18:47 PMI know its regular maintenance night but it sucks that it's on a night where the majority of the US doesn't work the next day. I would have liked to have gotten a late night session in.

Posted 7/3/2012 4:47:20 AMDamn spoiled americans :(
Be happy you have during the sleeping hours. We Euro people have maintenance during day time. Imagine working evenings on tuesday. You sit at home and have nothing to do except reading newspapers or play Sim City Rush Hour. When servers are back, you have to go to work.
If Bioware did a descent thing and made maintenance during sleeping hours for Euros which would be evening in the US. Half the US subscribers would unsub on the spot.

Posted 7/3/2012 5:55:49 AMI fail to understand how it would be a "decent thing" to have Bioware shift the maintenance hours to evening in the US.
